Yorick build?
How would I build him? I don't follow "recommended" as I've been told the recommended is still for his old version, also how would I go about runes and masteries?

I typically see him built with Triforce and then full tank and it is pretty effective. If you are doing well get triforce first item and if you are a little behind get it after a tank item that counters the enemy top laner.
For runes and masteries I'm not certain on but personally I would try hybrid pen, attack speed, armor, scaling MR and masteries I would go 12/0/18.

Required items are Titanic and tri-force if you are even or ahead, but I'll go through tons of options. Tri-force(or iceborne gauntlet if you're being HEAVILY bullied/are fighting a mostly all ad team), the sheen procs give you a very large power spike, and really helps with destroying towers. Tri-force is taken over iceborne because of the myriad of stats it gives, especially the movement speed and rage passive. Iceborne is amazing if you're fighting high ad champions, as the armor helps you survive, and the slowing field aids in waveclear, plus kiting people. Usually for the second item,(and boots), you will be getting a Titanic Hydra, dead man's, or spirit visage, or, if far behind, Sunfire If you're fighting against high waveclear, Titanic will be your best friend, and gives you a nice auto reset if you need to push out more DPS in fights. Dead man's is for when you have trouble chasing people, and makes your autos hit extra hard if you pop your momentum on them, and the slow helps a ton. Visage is for high poke(sit on spectre's cowl after sheen in these lanes) or against high AP teams. It's just helpful in general, healing increase, magic resist, HP, and CDR are amazing on juggernauts. If you're losing lane REALLY hard, investing into a Sunfire helps a lot, since a bamis is cheaper than tiamat, and has no falloff, you should have an easier time farming if you are smart about it. Usually, you want to start building to do one of a few things after you get your second item and DEFENSIVE boots. First, splitpush, grab a ZZ portal and build into some attack damage like death's dance, so the maiden hurts like hell, if you're doing this, you need tri and dead man's plus your Titanic. Grab another 10% CDR item such as visage or youmuus for 40%, and sustain/escapes.
If you are wanting to teamfight without the maiden, and have her split, get a ZZ, randuins(if you don't have iceborne), and your tank item of choice. You hurt like hell with maiden, you hurt much less without her. If you're fighting WITH maiden, get steraks instead of zz, and follow the same advice as if you were fighting without her.

Alright, what champs should I be wary of while playing Yorick?
Alright, what champs should I be wary of while playing Yorick?
I typically have issues with poppy, but a bigger concern of yorick is whether or not to summon his ghouls. If you summon them, they will auto push the lane, very hard, and in some matchups, namely
, this is a very bad thing. But in matchups where the enemy will push if they try using abilities (
) you are able to summon them every time. Champions who have escapes also are tricky, as your only lockdown is the wall, so save it until they waste their escape.
I've had a lot of success rushing zzrot and just hard pushing lane most people can't handle it and you are too tanky for jungle to hurt you either. It's easy to get farm and get ahead on other items i usually take triforce second and from there its really situational. Titanic is pretty great to have as well
i like
and either
or
depnding if i or my team is ahead of the enemy.
its usually
when my team is having trouble and i have to put on my carry pants and get way more agressive with roams and skirmishes around the map. you can take more risky turret dives and be more of a frontline threat with the item.
its
when my team is doing fine, and i just want to press the advantage in every possible way. in those cases i just try to look for an opportunity where the enemy team is outnumbered, for example due to a lost skirmish, and then just push the hell out of a lane with rot and the maiden. those situations often result in 2 free turrets on your own.
the speed at which youre pushing lanes with this is crazy.
from there on usually a combination of these to complement:
depending on the enemy team and teamcomp.
as a side note, i cant wait to play with the new rift herald with yorick. ive seen that thing tackle inhib turrets for 1/3 of their health. if that doesnt see any changes from the pbe, getting herald will turn him into an absolute monster. the pushing power between the maiden, rot and herald on him will be absurd.
and the best part is, he might even be able to solo it with his ult.
