Riot needs a tutorial on champion interactions and mechanics.

They really do. Just played as Ivern Q'd the teemo that was wrecking our top lane Darius so much, probably did like half my damage, literally never followed up. As a Bard I can't tell you about the amount of wasted E and W. Cant tell you how much times as a Ryze I have believed my team was going in on a game changing R only for me to die as the rest of my team didn't know what to do, and ran away Engage champions are beaten up since team never follows up. As a Kalista so much supports have been clueless to my ult. As Lulu your R can never be used properly. So much wasted GP ults since team never followed up on the global deathtrap.

Ideally they'd program AI for all their champions and give us 1v1 training modes, both that teach us our own champion's mechanics and allow us to practice strategies against other champions.

It will never happen, unfortunately.

They just need champion demos in general and better tutorials period

Having a short tutorial both as and against every champion from the collection page would be neat.
