...So these are the "big changes" for Zilean?
You wanted to make him a time travel Mage. You wanted a much stronger theme than "bomb, recast an ability, speed/slow, GA"
You could have given him any of the following:
-A jump-back skillshot that returns an ally or enemy to the spot where they were hit after a set period of time
-A time-rift ability that slows down enemies and speeds up allies as they travel along it, or a time-stream that provides both allies and enemies a speed up for traveling with the stream and a slow going against it.
-A "progressive aging" cc attack that degrades enemies' stats and displays their level going backwards as their base stats decrease.
-A Clock-Chime attack that rewards good timing by having a very brief ability to recast after a short period of time, allowing zileans with perfect metronomic rhythm and aim to chime all the way to a final Midnight Toll attack
But instead what do we get?
"Alright rework team what's the gameplan?"
"MAKE SOMETHING A SKILLSHOT!!!"
"Is there any way we can fuck over melees? Maybe a stupidly powerful slow that bypasses the defensive mechanics we added into the game to reduce slows?"
"Maybe something to do with mana! Or cooldowns! That's creative!!"
