A resourceless heal that has no cooldown, or counterplay.
The counterplay is that he dies faster than any other champion in the game when caught out. Hit him with any form of hard CC and he crumbles immediately because he can almost never build any form of tenacity, armor, or MR without severely gimping his damage output.
If he takes Aftershock (which seems to be getting less popular over time) bait it out as it's on a very long cooldown.
Instant movement speed boost and invisibility,
Yeah, it's a movespeed boost with invisibility.
I don't see why that's a problem considering he can't build any form of resistances or health, so if his E is down and you're next to him, he's dead whether he uses W or not.
Hard cc with atrocious hitboxes.
His Q hitbox is one of the best out of all the hook champions and I've very rarely (if ever) landed a hook that was undeserved. His ultimate hitbox is super tight and it's nearly impossible to find an example of it hitting when it shouldn't have.
The only thing I will agree to is that his E hitbox has a wide circular hitbox at the beginning of his phantom. I've hit people who were right next to the phantom but not in the path of the ability itself, that could probably be tweaked a bit.
And a fucking mid range execute that resets AND has even more atrocious hitboxes.
At most, Pyke's execute threshold will reach about 800-950 if he's got max lethality and a very healthy amount of AD.
It sounds like a lot on the surface but it's actually not that bad as his ultimate's got a delay and the hitbox is tight, meaning anyone with a heal, blink, dash, stasis, or vanish to counter it. _A 600g Stopwatch alone can shut down his ultimate and remove him from one teamfight altogether. _
Add that to the fact that you can build health and his ultimate threshold becomes much less of a threat.
I rarely see a good pyke die in lane because of the braindead bullshit heal.
You rarely see a Pyke die in lane because you're not supposed to focus him in lane. He has no heals or shields and his CC is telegraphed meaning you can ignore him as long as you play it right. If someone engages on my ADC and wins the trade, they're staying at that health until they back or unless they have lifesteal.
You poke him, hes at 20% hp? Nah, fuck you he's been gone for 10 seconds and how hes back up full while you wasted mana and probably also took damage.

No, he isn't regening that much health that early. Late game he regens about 70-80% of the damage he takes but it's still up to a cap, you're still chipping away at his health.

When he's gone, focus his ADC for the reasons listed above in the "braindead bullshit heal" comment.
