What happened to in-game rival events?

Kayle and Morgana seem the obvious candidates but it’d work for any ninjas, too.

What happened to in-game quests like battle for the freljord or the hunt is on? Why doesn’t Kayle and Morgana have that?

Riot said they did too edgy of ones with Riven vs. Yasuo and Garen vs. Darius so this time they are doing a light hearted one with cats vs. Dogs and Fizz was revealed to be the champion with the dog skin.

Oh sorry, i mean't actually in-game - not in-client - like the Rengar vs Kha'zix timed quest or the "Battle for the freljord" quest between Ashe, Sejuani and Lissandra.

The Hunt is On has always struck me as odd. It provides an unfair advantage that is essentially luck based in a game that shouldn't have such things. It also makes both champions extra powerful in extremely rare circumstances, which is odd.

Any one that doesn't give any advantage to any champion because they're rare, they add needless complexity to the game, and are "find it interesting for .3 seconds before forgetting about it" kind of things.

idk why they got rid of the freljord ones, there was no stat change or w/e and it was purely cosmetic

They're still in the game. I think they trigger once both champions reach level 16.

ahh, back in the day it was like 10 or 20 kill participation for each champ and it'd trigger
