Can Abyssal Mask lose the damage amp and get a spell shield.

And Banshee Veil lose the spell shield and get magic damage amp.

Both items would be bought more often if this happened.

mask is more for tanks/short range mages

bashee's veil is best for burst damage from a magic spell.

both are unique for what they do and purpose they serve

Abyssal is pretty good on tanks which is who it's meant for.

I am trying to get a spellshield for everyone again.

I miss BV actually being a good option when against long CC or high damage abilities.

Aka counterplay options that we use to have.

You do know that Banshee's veil originally was an HP/MR item right? It was made into an AP item when it became apparent that tanks could just absorb CC with just MR and didn't need a spell shield.

Likewise, Abyssal Mask was once Abyssal Scepter, which had the same passive but was an AP item. Given the aura's short range, it was not useful on mages who didn't like CQC. Thus, it was converted into a tank item, first with Spectre's cowl as a component, but then replaced by Catalyst of Aeons.

In other words, you are suggesting to reswap their roles. [zombie-brand-mindblown]
