Ignore that lane. That lane is cancer waiting to spread. Tell your laner to chill it. then you go help other lanes.

and knowing solo q, the laner will kick and throw fists, and keep feeding the lane and continue to blame the jungler

I just had a zed go 2/10 against a lb, then our rammus kept trying to help him. like. wut.

lol my fave is when they push up the lane repeatedly and fight them instead of learning to farm under tower til grouping

or the "you fed my lane" bit if they don't follow or ping an early roam and end up with that enemy laner getting a kill lol

"/all THIS FUCKING JUNGLER IS TRASH AND WON'T GANK" "/all i can't gank your lane when you are at their tower" an ally has been slain "/all REPORT THIS JG FOR TROLL" a summoner has disconnected

Really? mines goes like this Top lane: wave frozen, I get ganked I back off and farm under turret I get tower dived Opposing laner pushed up on my turret all game His mid laner ganks me I brush it off still haven't died "hey junlg this guy pushed all game, I can kill him easy, can you gank?" I'm either ignored or told top lane isnt important or that the champ I am playing doesnt need ganks proceed to being ganked 5+ more times and dying My laner gets fed, takes turret, then my team bitches when he runs rampant through the game... "garbage top report please"

if the jungler helps you then he risks the chance of a countergank, which you're probably going to lose because you fed the enemy top laner.

Also, why is the wave frozen? You fucked up somewhere

Velgam2 votes

I froze the wave while zoning him off at the start, his jungler helps him, i back off, I didnt feed my laner my laner gets ganks regularly and i get zero so I HAVE to play safe, I can farm under my turret easily. If I push I get ganked, if i freeze i get ganked, if I farm under my turret I still get ganked with ZERO help from my jungler.

But according to GD, all you had to do was ward :^)

with turrets in the state they are atm past lv 7 with 1 tank item or 1 full damage item yiu can tower dive with ease and get away, I can tank 5-7 shots with malphite with only sunfire.

From my experience they seem to just run it down mid or afk now.

Itsbeghdev1 votes

yeah, there's definitely a point at which a snowballed lane is the single concern in the game and ignoring it is a worse call than risking feeding it further. there's only so much further ahead it can get, but it can be set a bit back, and shutdown gold is of course good for all lanes

General Esdeath 14 votes

Fair, but don't complain if the laner gets dove and dies.

When an enemy is 4/0+, there is the possibility that they can dive you at full health. That would mean essentially the laner is not allowed to even enter the lane, further growing the disparity, or simply allowing that fed enemy laner to roam because there is nobody in the lane.

Shahamut2 votes

This is true. I once played Akali top vs a Kled. His team was raging, because I got fed. But once I was 6+ gunblade, I just dove him as soon as he showed up. He was 4 levels behind at one point I think... he just left and went to other lanes after that.

General Esdeath 4 votes

Yeah I can totally leave with Lee sitting there throwing Q's at me when I try to back from one angle and Kennen throwing Q's at me from another. Not to mention you can be killed from 100% in a dive.

Bottom Laner4 votes

Are you saying if it's 4/0, 5/0, 6/0, etc. to ignore the lane or 4/1, 4/2, 4/3, etc. to ignore the lane? The + is throwing me off.

AFilthyCaitMain2 votes

If the lane is bad is what im trying to say

Leonerdo3 votes

Or if you want to go the extra mile, ward around the lane that is suffering and come to counter-gank the inevitable tower-dive.

Although, that's assuming that the guy tries to farm at tower, rather than continuing to feed.

hater free zone2 votes

This is true

MuffledGarbage2 votes

Sometimes I sit under tower though at 200 health as a poor Rammus with a giant Darius axe up my anal cavity and all I can do is wait for the 0/4 Kindred to gank my lane...

Those are the games which the jungler is usually autofilled... so ggs there

Fraggleroc3 votes

trust me... u don't want him to gank your lane.

Suck it up with defensive items. Stay under turret, buy items for wave-clearing under turret.

MuffledGarbage1 votes

I do suck it up with defensive items. I get roughly 60 cs by the 20 minute mark thanks to the enemy Darius having no need to use his skills to push the wave.

I grab myself item 3068(or item 3512 ) with a item 3075 and item 3047 because that's all I can buy before the game is either over, my team has fed the enemy to a point where it's an inevitable win, or MY team is the one fed to the point where we will inevitably win.

Riot at minimum needs to turn Rammus W into a toggle due to the self slow.

Fraggleroc1 votes

Rammus has such bad wave-clear until his lvl6. He shouldn't be able to get ur turret when u have taunt.

A trick for me is to get the Ancient Coin/Refill Pot. Then grab Cloth Armor. Upgrade Pot. Doran's Shield/Ring. Bami's Cinder. Chain Armor for better defense. Into Zzrot Portal or if u're able to push out some safely, a Ninja Tabi.

The problem then usually becomes = He gives up on your lane and goes to rekt the other lanes. Your teammates may not be prepared for him.

It's usually better to ban such champs that can deal with 2 or more in lower elo = Yasuos, Rivens, Yis etc.

PePsiLemoNN2 votes

Isn't that common knowledge? Nobody wants to 2v1 a fed Riven or Illaoi

ZT Xperimentor2 votes

If you ignore teammates, don't expect teamfights to go well.

Sauceyapples2 votes

The point he's getting at is it's a dangerous lane to try to gank unless you're already fed yourself. Trying to get a kill in that lane could end up giving that lane a double kill or a 1 for 1 which isn't really worth a whole lot, especially if their jungler comes and cleans up for a 1 for 2. It's better to try to force kills in other lanes allowing them to get fed and/or you so that you can actually compete with that fed lane. If mid is feeding, getting bot fed could potentially save the game. He's not trying to ignore that lane, just trying to keep up.

However, as a jungler... You should be aware of the fact that they are getting tower dove and next time they try it to pick up that easy kill. It's all dependent on the situation.

EDIT: Downvote this all you want, i know im not high elo, but i've tested this on multiple games and matches. Pushing a lane to get fed is better than feeding more kills to an already overly fed lane. Really, if you think about it that way, it's kinda common sense. Another thing. Even if you do kill that individual, you do get the shut down gold but what then? They're 4-1 v a 1-4. It doesn't save the match. And then you continue to camp them and theyre jungler counter ganks that lane to push the lane further ahead. You see what i mean? I find there is more reward in making another lane compete with that already fed player.

ZT Xperimentor1 votes

I'm aware of that, but his attitude doesn't improve the situation; his refusal to even help out when his ally gets towerdove, is why people with him want to surrender. Riot has skewed the game to snowball so hard that it's not remotely fun to play from behind, regardless of skill gap.

Sauceyapples1 votes

I agree, but most of the problem with playing from behind isnt the fact that the snowball effect is so hard or that it's skewed, imo. I feel like it's more people don't know how to play around it to compete for the win (i am just as guilty as everyone else). If they are diving you at your outer turret, and your jungler refuses to gank, try to wander and give them that turret. If it's a tier 2 they're after and the jungler STILL refuses to gank even though they are over exposed then its on the jungler. Sometimes even when they are pushed to the outer turret a jungler may not want to go because of the inherent risks of getting counter ganked under said turret, especially if they're top is fed and tanky or they have a zac or something like that. Ganking the tier 2 is more reasonable and less dangerous and is easier for which ever lane to wander as well. I don't know if his refusal to gank that lane is an absolute (i didnt read OP's comments in that long string of replies) but i hope thats not what he was meaning. There are ways to play around the snowball and compete with it... As long as you or someone else snowballs as well :)

ZT Xperimentor2 votes

Problem is when you do roam to help out in team-fights, they'll usually blame you for 'trying to feed their opponent too' regardless of the outcome. The society has devolved from working together to being soloist elitists, and posts like this guy makes shows that mentality. I agree it's not impossible to come back from, but I'm saying it's more of a chore to do so more often than not; both because of riot's balancing, and because of the player-base.

Sauceyapples2 votes

The community hasn't degraded at all, its stayed the same haha but yes you are correct and i agree.

Thinking about it too i see a lot more people nowadays willing to be chill than otherwise. That being said i havent played ranked at all this season (june 20th cant get here sooner please interwebs).

The worst part of it all is that i feel like riot encourages it... Because all ranked in lower elos is either i carry or we lose. Imo. I dont think Riot would like hearing me say that.

ZT Xperimentor1 votes

I've never finished my promos, just a couple ranked matches each year to see if it's more stressful than last year. Couldn't care less about rank, I play video games for fun; not to show off imaginary power, lol.

Oh that's been something they've been nudging forward for years, but ever since their obsession with esports started crippling game design, it's become increasingly more noticeable. Part of why I've become more vocal as time has gone on.

jama6552 votes

THAT DOESNT HELP WHEN THEY CAN TOWER DIVE ME NOW ggwp Jungler doesnt gank

SlampieceHawke2 votes

Depends. I once salvaged a game in which insanely fed enemy Draven was so strong that he'd easily get kills under our own towers. As Rammus I Q flashed over wall, taunted him under our towers and shut him down a lot that way. We actually turned it around and won even though he was having a stomp fest.

Gelmous1 votes

or have you and one of your fed lanes help get a shutdown and push that lane

RainbowIcee1 votes

Not at all tbh, depends entire on the situation however the laner should already chill after the 1/0. Going 2/0 is pretty bad... having 4/0 is woooow why ?

Hell M00d1 votes

And then the feeding lane is tilted and blames the jungle. It's lose-lose
