How could Riot handle a "respawn at ghost" mechanic ala Leoric in HotS?
Dying in League carries with it the added punishment of being sent back to your team's fountain. This holds the same in Heroes of the Storm, except for one hero: Leoric. When he dies, he turns into a ghost that haunts the battlefield, letting him slow enemies and accelerate his death timer. When his timer completes, he respawns at the location of his ghost after a short delay.
I have to wonder how League could handle such a mechanic. It probably would have to be locked behind a level requirement like Garen's passive (i.e. you don't respawn at the ghost's location until you're level 11) to ensure it isn't obnoxious in lane. But it'd certainly be interesting on a top-laner, allowing them to forgo
(which, I note, has been nerfed into the ground).
