The problem with Irelia, Akali and Leblanc

Its nothing rare to see at least one of the three banned each game, and half of the time 2/3 of them, its also known that they are frustrating champions to play against and we also know that Rito doesnt want to nerf them at all and are looking for changes.

However, whats the real problem here? These champions have too many clear strengths and none clear weaknesses, and unless you are really high elo people wont even realize what they have todo in order to punish an akali, a leblanc or an irelia.

Riot, stop buffing damage and nerfing wrong things, make the champions less disgusting to fight against and give them a weaknesses, Irelia shouldn't be a tank and an assasin with resets at the same time.

Akali shouldnt be able to be immune to everything because of her shroud, she needs some sort of exploitable weaknesses, and leblanc... well... leblanc can jump every 12 seconds and even less at lvl 18... most champions cant catch her, and remember she can teleport back to her dash which is actually a double dash...

Yeah i'm not complaining at all, I just want to say that they need exposed clear weaknesses and not 400 strengths, make champs be able to punish them.

Chasing a Leblanc alone or even as two is the most useless thing you can ever do in your life. Best you can do is try and get her in a teamfight when she's distracted.

I agree with Irelia and LB, but Akali literally has the lowest win rate in mid lane and the second lowest in top lane. She is just annoying to play against.

The problem with LB and Akali is there is no way to punish them. Period. Irelia atleast has mechanical limitations.

cant see how irelia and akali are any good atm, they are cancer but thats it Kassadin Jax Camille Yasuo Zoe are much bigger balance issues

Try playing any of this champions

I literaly dropped Le blanc despite peeking multiple times AS LITERALY ** FIRST LE BLANC WORLDWIDE**.

The safety doesnt mean shit you are constantly forced to FORCE yourself because you dont want to wait till teamfights comes because you straight up have less impact then the 99% of enemy midlane champions do.

Not to mention the only time you can kill a target is if they are NEAR YOU, which 9 months ago wasnt a true, 9 months ago I was consistently one shoting through entire enemy team from 1700 range.

And dont get me started on her shitclear, 99% of a time you cant do anything because it takes you 10 minutes to kill a wave at which point another wave comes so unless you want to have 5 cs PER MINUTE GOOD LUCK.

Le blanc has been getting nothing BUT NERFS ever since rework. The hardest nerf was a revert I am counting around 6 nerfs by now Recent ones - 10 damage on her core ability, increasing cooldown on her core ability

Akali is at abysmall winrate, I am starting to think this nerfs did do something but she is relativly new and entire world is playing her wrong. Last game I played against Akali I wasnt terrorized and I decided to stop permabanning her she isnt as scarry boogyman to me anymore compared to Graves, Kindred, Cammile, Kaisa etc

Irelia has massive potentional but it usually ends at ** potentional ** Yes the Ideal teamfight irelia can produce is scary as fk. But in reallity mid dash you get interrupted by a single flay like ability suddendly you didnt do anything in teamfight

Comunity has tendency to hate good 1vs1 champions

The problem is that come champs have overloade kits, and just nerfing damage or cs on them doesn't work. Reality is that something has to be removed from the kit itself.

Irelia should not have hyper mobility. Remove that from her kit
Yasuo shouldn't have a passive shield, his already has wind wall for defense
Akali's shroud should be max 2 seconds. Either she decides to escape or reengage. Not chill for eternity coming in and out of the shroud
LB - This champ can do so much damage in a blink. At his point I don't know what to change about her, she has too much mobility

How to counter Irelia in lane 101

1: Irelia is naturally reliant on having 4 stacks of her passive before fighting an enemy champion, but acquiring and maintaining them requires her to be naturally more aggressive and push the wave. Pay attention to your low health minions and look to trade with her whenever she goes in to Q one.

2: After Irelia uses her W there is a 20 second window for you to be aggressive without fear of your damage being mitigated at all. This, in conjunction with her not having full passive stacks, makes her an unbelievable easy target to be aggressive against. This is especially important if you’re a champion who naturally has good all in potential in a 1v1 (Darius, Renekton, Jax, Trundle, hell even Nasus if he has enough stacks).

3: Irelia’s E and R are hilariously telegraphed and thus among the easiest abilities in the game to dose (she quite literally jumps and or dances while performing these abiltiies), so please just dodge them.

Despite being an Irelia one trick I rarely ever play her nowadays, however when I play against her it’s literally my favorite matchup top lane because of how easy she is to punish after fucking up. She’s not a Pantheon or Darius, who will Q you whenever you dare try to last hit or a GP that’ll hold his grasp proc and then trigger it with his Q for a fuckton of damage early. You see her fuck up a Q reset? Engage or zone her. You see her use her W unwisely? Engage or zone her. Her passive is stacked? Wait that shit out cause eventually she has to let it expire lest she shove the wave in and open herself up to a gank (and after it expires engage or zone her from farm). I don’t really understand why people have such a hard time playing against her. Some of my personal picks into Irelia include Renekton (can literally 100 to 0 her if she doesn’t have her W and he doesn’t even need ignite), Jax (he naturally out duels her throughout the whole game), and Nasus (once you get 150 stacks you can all in her whenever you want as long as you have Tabis and Sheen. Of course you just have to play passive early but if you’re picking Nasus that’s a given).
