So how about a pure buff granting support?

Has anyone ever thought of that? I'm not talking about another healer, in fact I don't want this champion concept to even include healing necessarily. In a way Sona does this, but she's not the premier buff giver in the same way Soraka is leagues premier healer. She has potential damage routs and is a functional healer as well.

I'm talking about a character who is all about giving their team mates the right stats for the right situation, and in turn not being fit for front line in engages or team fights at all. Minimal direct effect on enemy champions aside from ability to auto attack maybe.

My initial idea is that this theoretical champ has buffing abilities based off offensive power, defense, mobility, and something cool for an ult. The way the abilities would scale would be among one of the most versatile in league. Let's say you want your adc to have a bit of an offensive boost? Buy a vampiric scepter, and your offensive based abilities now give bonus ad. Further down the line if you build that into a BOTRK and they get more ad, plus attack speed. Say your ADC is stupid and keeps going head 1st into danger, or your tank is behind and needs to last a little longer in fights. Buy a Randuins omen and your defensive ability will scale to give them bonus armor and health.

The paragraph above in turn got me thinking, since this would in turn be a stat sharing, buff granting support, what could we do with the ult? I had already envisioned this character as something of a spirit or a ghost, so what do you think about a champ that sorta merges with another champion (possessing the champ for sake of having some way of describing it in ability tool tip) per, and gives them a ridiculous stat boost? Something on the level of getting the buff from killing Xerath in Ascension? You'd give one champion all the stats you have, as well as maybe a few other goodies, enough to compensate for the fact that at best team fights are gonna be a 4 v 5 scenario.

If I get feedback on this idea and people like it, I might take this idea over to Concepts and Creations and put together my own fan made champ. I just wanna get a feel for what others think first.
