Having a bad game isn't report worthy, get over it.

Just a quick little rant for myself. Discuss if you want. But seriously, you're not going to win every game, even the ones where you have a good K/D/A. So when you're mid laner or your support or whatever doesn't do so well... yeah be mad if ya want but seriously, reporting them is one of the stupidest things you can do.

Some things to note:

If they are loosing lane hard, chances are they are having even less fun than you are right now.
Being bad at a game doesn't justify being banned from playing it.
Even if Riot said it was, it's still an unintended rule break.
The times when someone is feed intentionally, it should be obvious. There's a difference between people who just walk into champs under towers for no reason and Rivens who get counter picked by Garrens.
Riot removed the "unskilled player" check box for reporting a while ago.

riot removed the "unskilled player" because it did nothing. like you said, playing bad/having a bad game isnt against the rules. if it would, we all would be banned.

This. A million times, this! I was having a fantastic game with this Blitzcrank the other day, I thought he was a great guy. We were dominating our lane. Top lane however was really having a hard time. Blitzcrank in his infinite wisdom decides to start abusing our top laner for losing his lane. He called for a report against the player and hurled verbal abuse at him to no end. Blitz went from a great guy to king of the ignore list. Sad fact is, we could have probably won that game if we'd supported our weaker player rather than pinning every mistake we made on him until he no longer felt like playing.

I'll preface this by saying that there's no situation where it's acceptable to flame or verbally attack someone during a game, but sometimes I do think there should be slightly different report parameters for normals vs ranked.

If someone wants to play Sona top in normals, and proceeds to go 0/7/1, i could not care less. However, if they do the same thing in ranked, I feel like that should be reportable.

Sadly the People who need to read this the most are probably to busy flaming someone for feeding in this very minute. But I for my part am glad someone said it loud for those who will read it.

I don't mind someone going 0/7/1 or worse, what I do mind is the people who flame them for it.

You can see they're trying, you can see they don't like not doing well, support them don't flame.

So having a jungler who Doesn't use his brain, jumps into my top lane before level 6 with less than 40% HP and does absolutely nothing but get the enemey ahead giving the fact he has no plan, and especially when I could have won a lane phase had he not have screwed over my lane phase is one of my games isn't a reportworthy offense?

When does it become report worthy, when a player Throws off another persons lane without using their brain, or when players start harassing chat refusing to change game-play because your jungler is running around throwing the game off to the enemy team?

Like I don't deny bad games happening, but pinging, not following the basic rules, and trying to turret dive a enemy early game when there is no way your mate or you are going to live it is a issue?

it doesnt matter either way. 9 people can report you every game but if youre not breaking rules, nothing will happen. even if you get an automated warning, you can just open and ticket, riot will look into it and remove it. this isnt an issue.

They can report all they like. None of the reports are validated.

Unfortunately how are they to know if it's a bad game or not? They can't look up your stats in client to check in end screen, nor do they care about your last games. Most game sites people check only list, guess what, the currently loading game's stats. People are too lazy to care about your backstory, and even less to actually have to dig around to find that backstory.
