So since Vladimir just won some LCS games today, what dos that mean for him?

I'm really scared again for my main. Since he just got picked in LCS, /r/VladimirMains is kind of freaking out a bit. I don't know if other people who main champs who got nerfed or even gutted because of higher levels of play have this sort of reaction, but I'm actually afraid he's gonna get nerfed, even when he just got buffs a few weeks ago.

Sorry about how this is kind of frantic. I know I'm not really being objective but I don't want him to become another Azir orRyze .

Edit: Title is 'does' instead of 'does'.

Since he was played in LCS and won it means people are going to play him without know how to play him. Which will bring about two things:

  1. Win rate will lower
  2. People don't want bad vlad players on their team so his ban rate will go up.

To many LCS sheep in this game and it's kind of ruining it for a lot of people.

odds are he won't get nerfed unless he starts being first picked

I doubt he'll see any nerfs, despite doing well in LCS. Many of his counters are being played currently in soloq and people usually rush item 3123 into item 3033 .

xd faced vlad mid a few times some days ago not really hard to lane against as ranged but the negatron/mr rush tilts me every time because he becomes tanky af and still manages to outdamage me later on

Means Lee Sin needs a buff. Maybe Ahri too.

Enjoy some mirror matches against people in normal who don't know how to play him? lol

It's no secret that Vlad is not one of Riot's favorite champs. I'd say it's the opposite, since a Rioter has gone on record as saying his creation was a mistake and that he should never have been made. If the search function on boards wasn't so crappy, I'd link the thread. It was a few years ago nonetheless, so they might feel differently after his recent mini rework. I wouldn't count on it. however.

So if Vlad starts racking up wins in pro play, and thus starts getting played (and banned) in soloQ, I would be afraid of the patch notes if I was a Vlad main.

Yeah vlad was my first main but then I started maining azir and I did really well with him and considered myself pretty decent untill riot had a nerfing frenzy on his entire kit. It also happened with kindred. It really sucks and I'm just hoping they know when to stop with my newest main corki. Every time my main gets nerfed I just feel like riots going to keep going so we'll see.

I wouldn't worry too much - Vlad is currently still in the state that Riot intended him - high risk for high payoff. (Sigh - I miss old tank Vlad.) Even if you look at those games he was in, any success he had was due to some pretty risky stuff. For the most part, it's either feast or famine.

Moreover, I don't think that it's quite the same situation as Ryze and Leblanc which have both been ht hard with the nerf hammer recently, yet still are finding play at the higher levels. If you look at Vlad's kit, and they risk doing another balancing on him then he could easily be restored to the tankish state he had before - and Riot has indicated that they don't want to do that.

Who is Taliyah3/18/2017, 7:42:06 PM1 votes

I freaked out when Taliyah was picked the first time this year in korean LCK. The player dominated hard and her pickrate went from .4 to 3.5% in one day, staying this "high" (it's unusual for Taliyah) for days, now she has a 2.30 - 2.80% pickrate.

Vladimir won't be nerfed for being played in the LCS/LCK etc., what will happen is that you might not be able to play him because he will get banned a few times or played a few times by the enemy.
