. Her W pops his shield, leaving him open to your Q or whatever else. Of course your E blocks his silence and more importantly, his ult. As long as you can predict his ult timing on you or your ADC, you're golden. Her Q-W can also deal comparable if not more damage than Malz after some items. I'm sure there's other ways around this support, just thought I'd share something I have had recent success with.

Did you ever consider that him silencing you and then prioratising you instead of the ADC? Also he can spawn a voidling on top of your Q to completely block it, its hardly golden. He is really good at skillshot reliant champions. And about morg outdamaging malz...he was a burst mage and he is still sort of in that category if the conditions are set. Morg outdamaging malz is simply unheard of.
If you want to counter malz. You want to use champions like Janna or zyra.
Ben SwoIo1 votesI've done it many times already. I have had no issue going against a Malz support. Anytime I see it, I pick Morg and enjoy my lane. Yes, he did try to focus me but that's where position came into play. Got malz killed many times already trying to do that. It's not like I just stand there and let him get off his silence and voidlings on me. I can anticipate it pretty well. And if he's trying to block my Q with his voidlings, then good. I've got him worried about something instead of thinking he's going to spam powers for an easy power lane. Hasn't happened to me yet. Again, I've been very successful with Morg against the Malz pick. Plus it's nice to see the spell shield block his ult just as he activates it. Must be tilting. As far as damage goes, I don't get into numbers but when I'm chunking both him and the ADC after a Q-W hit, then I'm doing something right. Again, this is after a few items have been bought.
