Abilities that will deal piercing damage

Piercing damage will be useless unless it's enough to kill the target outright, because otherwise the rest of your damage will be eaten up by the shield.

It's like Xin's E against Galio. It does magic damage, but it might as well not because of his shield which you aren't touching with the rest of your damage (unless you build for it).

when I saw the words "piercing damage" I thought of yugioh cards that deal piercing damage to your opponent when you attack monster's atk is higher than their defense monster's def
