It's impossible to be a jungle main in Bronze

I don't think I can jungle in Bronze anymore. These are typical happenings in every game:

  • Getting teammates to react to pings or ganks is a lost cause most of the time. Not sure what they are looking at or doing, but pinging doesn't seem to help put the idea over. This is the #1 thing that bothers me and usually causes me to just mentally give up on the game. If I can't trust you to react to any help, I know we've lost.

  • Anytime someone loses their lane, it is my fault. Doesn't matter that they went 0-7 or that I came and we couldn't do anything. It's the junglers fault always. 3 lanes lose? All on the jungler.

  • Any time I invade a jungle on bot side, my teammates develop sudden blindness. I go in, enemy bot lane follows while my bot lane sees nothing weird about it. Usually an easy death for me and a waste of a ward.

  • The whole team is obsessed with first dragon. And I mean obsessed. No matter the situation, a non-jungler will almost always try to go for the first drag by himself. Dragon > Baron in Bronze. You could see 4 people sittin there and someone's going to go for it, but when it comes to Baron...

  • Getting teammates to go for Baron is like begging on a street corner. 4v1, 5v1, whatever the situation, teammates will usually decline to help. Pushing that mid lane and getting nothing is just too important. This is one of the things I like about premades as we will always go for it when the moment is right.

  • Split pushing and applying any pressure is something unheard of. There's so many times where I go to push some and my teammates decide to camp my red jungle side for whatever reason. Top lane in particular has a thing where after a tower goes, you aren't allowed to go past the baron in lane at all.

  • Wards? What are those? We don't need no stinkin wards.

Jungling in Bronze is a serious lost cause.

A tip on pings: don't ping "on my way" using the mini map. They'll hear the sound, but will be busy last hitting/harassing/dying and won't know where you pinged. Instead, move your view right on top of their champion, then ping. They're far more likely to see it then. When you're in place to gank, use a Target ping, then either wait for a reply Target ping from the laner or wait about 2 seconds before starting the gank. That'll make sure they're ready and on the same page.

I feel the same way about support...

I recommend going full AP blitzcrank. Just get a sightstone. Its the most fun you'll ever have as a 'support'

Apollocliptic1 votes

LOL Full AP Blitz is actually a monster, he has such high scaling that if you land that combo you burst most adc and other supports. It's very unreliable due to the nature of his kit, and is very single target, but in bronze who cares, take out one guy and run away, come back and take out someone else, lolz for days :D

Honestly though, vel koz, brand, anni, maybe lux and morgana are some of the best low elo supports due to the high damage plus good peel. They are used in higher elo's too, but in bronze you can carry the whole game with them

Play a support that can be built like a second APC. (The best CC is death.) Play someone that isn't passive. Play something that is noticeable when to go in, go out, etc. Janna is strong and all, but you can't rely on your adc knowing how to play with that. Blitz, Thresh, Morg? Your adc should be able to easily see when to go in if you play those.

Dude, I feel your pain. I recommend playing hard carry junglers like Rengar, that way you can become a late game powerhouse and carry your team. Another option is play Shyvana. Shyvana may not gank well but her presence come late game team fights is invaluable, and since in lower elos team fights are a major thing that happen constantly, that massive dragon is a great option.

Edit: Also as a fellow bronzie, I wish you luck and hope you can find a way out of Bronze.

I'm silver on my main. But teamwork Sejuani doesn't cut it in "I need da kill" Bronze.

To be honest, jungle might be the BEST position in bronze, either that or mid. You get to work on your individual abilities without being as heavily dependent on lower players, (whereas you can be better mid and get wrecked by jungle, better support but have sht adc etc). As the jungler, if you are good, you can solo carry, but unfortunately, if you want to play a support/tank jungle, like naut or maokai, you will struggle, but if you go a carry like lee or yi, you can, once you are good enough, win the game entirely on your own, and climb out of that hell quickly.

Just main a high mobility champ with early ganks, even the new one Ivern has the earliest gank in the game right now (though lee and naut are both good too). Ivern can gank level 2 with full hp if u start red, land that Q, and two v one a lane straight away. You ally sucks? well you're still level 2 and they are level 1. You can go full combat runes since you don't need jungle ones and out trade them. Go get another camp and gank again. After that you will struggle though if you don't get that early kill, but once you hit level 6, you are essentially two champs. Go 2v1 in top and mid, or go bot often because the adc might be the champ that will be hardest late game, so starve them out. After you do a nice gank, you can push using Daisy as well and get early objectives. Why rely on teammates when you have your own at beck and call lol

long story short, I feel your pain, but there's a few things you can do to climb up, Bronze becomes easy once you're good, silver is harder, but I think most people agree gold is where it gets hard, because you get really good players and really bad ones, so solo carrying is much harder, but the enemy might have just one fed champ and one guy that follows and peels for him and is enough to take the game if your team doesn't have that level of coordination.

I think one good champ can win bronze, two can win silver, 3 can win gold. After that you want the whole team to pull their weight probably lol

You can't play any role in Bronze. ADC, Support, Top, and Mid all got issues too. There's a reason we're in Bronze and it's because everybody sucks and it's never going to get better, doesn't matter if you're Silver or Diamond,so find a way to play find fun and stop blaming other people.

If you think that way then every position is a lost cause in Bronze. Every position on the team relies on every other position. Your goal is to do well yourself while also protecting or enabling the other members of your team to do well. Mechanical skill is only a small part of the game. Good team play and decision making are much more important.

Which is probably why low elo is a nightmare because people are quick to blame others and start infighting.

I think I explained multiple reasons why my teammates are not reliable here. I'll be happy to go 0-10 if it's for smart tradeoffs that win us the game. Instead it's me going 3-8 because of teammates not paying attention or not being there and turning 3v1 situations into 1v1, 1v1 and 1v1 situations.

Maximum Morde1 votes

Then you yourself made a poor decision gambling on unreliability and losing your bet. Play smarter than that. Don't think about what you could do with your teams help, think about what you can do without them to push the game in your favor. It's a different way of thinking.

Literally just play warrior+trinity+tank skarner.

Farm your ass off and carry.

Its free. Like, there's no excuse for not carrying out of bronze by doing that unless you are horrible at reading situations. You can straight up stat-check 2v1s in bronze that way.

If you don't like Warrior, go sheen->Black cleaver (just hold onto talisman) with an AD+AS runepage. Finish IBG and cinderhulk. Get deadman's, an MR item, and Righteous Glory.

Bronze people seriously don't know how to handle it.

I climbed out of bronze playing Naut support. I don't see why you can't carry from the jungle. Also, people in bronze don't expect counter jungling.

Slythion1 votes

I climbed from B4 -> S5 in 50 games. Over 30 of those game were Amumu Jg with a >70% win rate... so I can confidently say that you are wrong

Jungle is actually one of the best roles to carry yourself out of bronze... support is too. z.z

five oh tree 1 votes

Lmao jungle in bronze is easy as shit. Warding is minimal, counterjungling is unheard of, invades don't happen... Stop whining about your team and just carry if they're always bad [slayer-jinx-wink] Considering your team has 4 baddies, and because the enemy team is bronze too, they have 5 baddies, so if you're better just prove it. Or... you fit in.

Lanes are the best, else you know all lanes are gonna feed and there's gonna be nothing you can do.

If lanes are decent jg is best role to carry from, but you can't rely on that in bronze as people don't know how to not feed yet.

He works really well in the big damage meta and works great against squishy adc's, so he's a good pick now to me.
