> And that's it for us! While we head back to the lab to work on our next round of changes (hint: soraka), you guys keep experimenting.

Seeing something like this in the patch notes generally I find does not bode well for a champion. As someone who considers Soraka their main I am.... ever so slightly worried? Though maybe I shouldn't be, because there is also a slight chance of her getting a buff? Or just a neutral kind of balance change?

The best way to predict I find is to get an idea of the communities consensus on her balance? I'm personally happy with where she is right now (Minus the removal of Twin Shadows, but that's something I can deal with.) Really though, is she considered over or under powered at the moment? Or anything in between? Any opinions would be appreciated.

Surrender @ 20 on the PBE threads show Soraka's W getting a dramatic cost increase in Mana (+20 at all levels) and a reduction on the range of her Q (950 to 800).

Because Starcall totally needed to be nerfed and not her passive regeneration.

What passive regeneration? Her health regen sucks unless she has 3000+hp and a warmogs. The star call range nerf forces her to get closer to the battle/enemy if she wants to hit them to get the heal.

Regeneration from the Ancient Coin line mostly, although I don't think she should benefit from Warmog's as much as she does. Chances are, the range nerf on Starcall will encourage more Soraka players to build Warmog's. It only really affects AP Soraka whose only real means of recovery is Starcall.

I thought building flat health on her in any way outside of sightstone was frowned upon kinda? Increased heal cost as a result?

That's not as bad as I thought, though a fair tradeoff might be some easy way of letting your jungler know that your trying to heal them while they are making you chase them 1/2 back into jungle after successful gank at least.
