How easy to learn is Vi?

She's not too hard. She's somewhat more forgiving than gank-type junglers like Lee Sin or Elise because she doesn't fall off as hard, and her gank-pattern is fairly intuitive. As long as you're okay at the basics of jungling you should be fine.

Not like i've used her much but she does have a pretty straight forward style as a in your face auto'holic type of champion, don't see her that often so i can't vouch how good she does in regular matches currently. Kit'wise she has a nice setup with a Q you can 'charge up' and knock 'thru' a bunch of targets, shoving a enemy champion back and reeling anything else that she passes thru, the 33%~ extra damage to champions is nice to on that end.

Her W definitely makes her a nice canidate to play a bruiser sort of stickie champion since she can deal % max hp damage that gains 1% per 35 bonus AD she has so even with just 200~ bonus AD, she can melt about 10% max hp(max rank) + 5.7% more with the bonus AD every third hit she applies thru autos and her E (basically a auto enhance and reset), on top of letting her shred 1/5th of a targets 'full' armor and get her as high as 50% attack speed (also at max rank) for 4 seconds is a pretty impressive tilter which i could say she has the 'AD' sort of style of Fizz's W, sticking hard and melting thru the health bar with bursts of max health burn then missing health burn over time.

Lets not even get started with how her E is a stock setup so its pretty easy for her to rush out her W's procs thanks to it, plus it doubling as her wave clear, though the mana costs i tend to see as a issue at times, since 40~60 mana a proc thru it tends to eat up pretty fast with only her W being a passive makes up for the issue.

The R is the coup de grace since its a target'able 'chase' and knock up ability(Can't be CC'd and knocks away and damages anything in the way too) plus deal some good damage to boot, but if you use it with Q right, you can ruin a enemy being able to escape you easily, since her Q is perfect for a engage and you can use her R to chase a target if they flash or use some really scummy ability to gain some distance, done right you could even use her Q again likely to do a second gap close and likely have them next to dead or basically dead by then.

She's definitely good to keep on a target, but just like Udyr, she can easily be ruined by things like annoying CC which sadly every 'new' champion (in addition to complex OP gimmicks) these days seem to be getting 'drowned' with the stuff to the point i feel like she could get royally screwed if she is not properly played right.

Best case scenario i would say is to try her out on a free rotation, though considering i still believe we're in the 'age' of immobile marksmens still, she might work well against them and maybe even a number of 'tanks' like Swain, Darius, Illaoi(namely if her ultimate is on cooldown for obvious reasons) that are normally immobile enough to where if ya coordinate with your lane team mate you could ruin them pretty good, similar to a Volibear or Gragas performed shenigan.

I own every champ lol

I played her a lot when she first came out but stopped after that. People bitched she was OP because this was pre-mobility creep.

She has only 1 skillshot , point and click ultimate, and prety much 3 passives.thats all.So yea she"s not hard to play,at all.

one of the easiest champions in the game. you can go brusier and one shot people. high damage. easy job. and tanky.

Her clear is really bad so you need to do your research for the proper rune/mastery build or else you're going to suffer. Her ganks are strong but later on she gets blown-up in this damage-heavy meta.

What are you talking about? her single Q+E combo can kill the entire jungle camp.

the hardest thing about vi is mastering using the Q. it's kind of like fizz E in the sense that wasting it puts you in a bad spot for a few seconds since it triples as your only non-ult CC ability, and either an engage or disengage. also it's fairly easy to dodge when you're chasing/ganking someone since the animation for you doing it is very clear and slows you... i think this is why she isn't played at high levels that much because when your engage as a melee champion can be outplayed somewhat easily it makes it easy for you to be useless and be kited

Though far from my main, I've played a fair bit of Vi. I've always likened her to a more "interesting" Warwick. All of her abilities, fittingly, are basically different ways of punching things.

Her Q causes her to dash in and punch things so hard they're knocked up. Her W is a passive that makes her better at punching things. Her E, when activated, causes her to punch things so hard they explode and damage everything behind them. Her R is a targeted ability that allows her to punch something into the ground.

She's pretty easy. Her Q's a skill shot, sure, but you'll find her very easy to pick up and play at a basic level.

Disclaimer: I am support main and no longer play Vi, but she used to be my goto jungler a year or so ago.

I would rank her pretty easy to grasp but hard to master. But she got an interesting learning curve.

First you get familliar with the mechanics. Thats the easy part and she gets a good spike there. What she does is simple. Q, AA, e, ult when needed. The hardest part is Q flash(either during animation or angled to get to a squishy behind frontlines).

But then comes the part where you learn the decision making. Usually you need to max Q for damage and cd. Thats why if you fail your Q, not only you will miss your damage and cc but also get into valnurable position. I used to max E if they had many mobility because i needed to at least do damage when i was missing a lot of Qs. Her ult, while powerful ganging tool, is double edged sword in teamfights. It is single target and you can get focused pretty hard if your team cant follow your initiate, or if the enemy team can disengage yours. Needs proper timing. And lets not forget builds that may vary depending on teams or who gets fed. During that period she gets pretty stale as you make small steps compared to mechanical learning. I abandoned her during that period because of the above reasons. Could play easy mode mumu and get more compared to the time i invested on her.

When you master her, she becomes a delight. I have seen Vis hard carry either way. Assasin, frontline bruiser, or even tank with just Cinder and Titanic as their damage items. Furthermore she gets to that point earlier that the hardest ones like lee sin. Overall she becomes a pretty good choise for offensive junglers that like to gang a lot and snowball the game that way.

Easy mechanically and in lane phase but faces tough decision points with her ult during group/teamfighting phase because often times you get too far ahead of your team when you ult. She's very good with a dive buddy and in skirmishes, she's meh in 5v5s.

She can proc thunderlords really easily and her Q damage is pretty hefty when maxed first--between those and the extra AA-resets she does a ton of burst damage in the earlier half of a match.

If you've ever jungled with champs like Trundle or Lee Sin, she has similar issues as far as scaling off goes....becoming a high-risk Ult slave in the process when the teamfights start. She also doesn't lock people down very hard when she ganks pre6, and relies on whoever she's ganking for to line up the kill opportunities for her.

She is like a better version of Warwrick, with 1 skillshot/dash.
