instead of nerfing boots of swiftness
why not do something about champions ccing you to death with slows. Its fucking annoying when your constantly getting slowed

Nah this is Riot, the instant an item becomes relevant they have to nerf it.
Oh, you found a way to use a champion effectively with an off build - NERF Oh, this obscure item became good because we over nerfed and over buffed things -NOPE
They have their favorite set of items and champions they balance around, all other items/champs are filler and get nerfed or reworked as soo as they get any kind of attention. It is killing this game. I don't even bother trying to do anything new or fun now because it will get nerfed within 2-4 weeks.
They're nerfing the total MS it gives so you have less chasing power, not the unique passive that reduces the slows you're upset with. If anything, it'll help you get away from the slowing champs as many of them get these boots to keep chasing you when slowed.
Or they could increase the cost too
