To everyone who claims that the game is currently more imbalanced than it has ever been:

Do you remember release Xin Zhao or LeBlanc? Beta TF (level 1 global TP) or Jax (100% dodge rate)? 4 second root Q 3 second stun ult 14 second shield E MR shredding W Morg? League of Cleavers or League of Warmogs or League of Cinderhulk? AP Yi, Trist, Gragas, Trynd? 100% ban rate Kassadin? The jungle trinity of Jarvan, Vi and Lee? The top lane trinity of Renekton, Mundo and Shyvana? 4.20 Warwick? Runeglaive Ezreal? Reworked Skarner with 65% win rate? S5 Worlds with Morde and Gangplank? Quinn and Graves after the Marksmen rework being top tier in 3 positions? Lucian and Ekko with both over 50% play rate and over 55% win rate? And so many others?

I have to admit that I was not around when most of these happened, but even in my relatively few 2.5 years of League I have seen the game in much worse states, even though we are still in preseason. I suggest you read this thread if you really feel like the game is currently that broken.
