I'm not "entitled" to the champion, but why am I struggling to *play* Singed now

Lately in Diamond III and above (I don't know what it's like in lower elo), for the last few weeks or so, I've been struggling with this dilemma concerning Singed. At the least, in Diamond III and higher, he is picked very often and banned reasonably often (almost always after I win a match, forcing waiting periods between queues).

It's pretty frustrating because I have been around since Season 3 and one of the benefits to putting your time into Singed is he is an underplayed, shitty champion in the eyes of most people. Which makes mastering him rewarding and consistent because you can just play the champion any time you want.

With the game as broken as it is, I don't know why people are racing to pick Singed, an average pick all things said.

Just something that's going to happen as a champion becomes stronger in the meta. With a game that constantly is rebalanced and changed, you can't possibly expect a champ to stay bad forever. This is just how the game works.

Try being a Shaco one trick. Now he's banned or picked almost every game 😕

Same problem except I have to wait 20 mins between games in masters.

Wait 20 min, 10 min queue, someone dodges, wait 10 min, 10 min queue, etc.
