I'm not "entitled" to the champion, but why am I struggling to play Singed now

Lately in Diamond III and above (I don't know what it's like in lower elo), for the last few weeks or so, I've been struggling with this dilemma concerning Singed. At the least, in Diamond III and higher, he is picked very often and banned reasonably often (almost always after I win a match, forcing waiting periods between queues).

It's pretty frustrating because I have been around since Season 3 and one of the benefits to putting your time into Singed is he is an underplayed, shitty champion in the eyes of most people. Which makes mastering him rewarding and consistent because you can just play the champion any time you want.

With the game as broken as it is, I don't know why people are racing to pick Singed, an average pick all things said.

Just something that's going to happen as a champion becomes stronger in the meta. With a game that constantly is rebalanced and changed, you can't possibly expect a champ to stay bad forever. This is just how the game works.

no it's not. Teemo mains can play Teemo whenever they want as an uncontested, out there pick. Karthus, Wukong, Lissandra, all free to main with ease.

Except basically everybody agrees those champs are bad right now, which is why nobody plays them. If Teemo or the meta changed in a way so that he was considered good, then people would ban or pick him a lot.

Singed has good laning and is a tank. Which is pretty good rn.

Those champs are still better than singed lol

Theres higher rank Teemo one tricks than any singed one tricks, even playing teemo jungle.

But i can think of times where we were banning all of them. Maybe you can't because it's "too close to home", but i don't have any trouble remembering plenty of champions cycle through being pick/ban then left in obscurity for their mains to enjoy uncontested.

It's just something that happens.
