what is it with zilean ult cooldown?

I don't understand how one of them most powerful ultimates have 60 second cd at max rank with no cdr.

can use it 2-3 times in extended team fights and skirmishes

don't tell me zilean is shit. because zilean has been overpoerforming in the past long months. and hes seen plenty of play in the lcs regions.

where are the nerfs? or it is because hes not flashy so we don't care.

there isn't much of a window of weakness that you can fight his team. his ultimate is always up.

Zilean is not weak , but by no means is he over performing. Zilean is as balanced a champion can get really. Sees regular play in soloq and appears in lcs on occasion. As for the ult but it's very easy: His ult is supposed to have a very long cooldown because it is a powerful ultimate yes. So what happened back in the day is he would get max cdr and spam w ( which reduced ult cs by 15 s) to get it down to 30 s cd from 150s.

Then riot decided to make the actual cooldown 30s and remove the w- R interaction , because it was dumb and goofy how zilean always had to press w every time it's up to ensure his ult is back up soon as possible.
