Manamune on Lucian
I think it's good on him, spamming all his skills and having the mana and mana regen and all.

takes too long to stack up, and you play lucian to abuse/dominate lane -> abuse/dominate game.
building tear gives up too much early power, as opposed to youmu/black cleaver build which lets you smash lane
But today's games always go for the late game, at least for me. But i guess to ER crit build will do, as always.
He scales much better off crit.
Also manamune doens't have any mana regen anymore. So it does nothing to refill your mana pool; you just deplete it more slowly. He would also tear through his mana very quickly; you can't turn off the damage for mana consumption anymore so his passive would shred through his mana pool even faster.
Manamune is pretty much only good on ez as an adc which is more a problem with ezreal and his state of balance (and the impact on the game) than anything else.
Essence Reaver into crit is probably a better choice if you're having mana issues.
Sure, it's not bad. He doesn't really have that high of a base mana pool though, so it may not be as effective as it could be on other champions. He also doesn't have many issues with mana after his 5th rank in E, a single mana item, blue buff, or Ocean Dragon can pretty well resolve any remaining issues completely.
Lucian is pretty strong in general, so I don't see why this wouldn't at least work.
