-I die way faster than I used to, everyone does WAY TOO MUCH DMG -everyone is playing squishy champions and dmg carries, even on support and jungle.

whatever happened to tanks ,bruisers , and assassins ??
there is slows EVRYWHERE! Why is everyone building rylais and why can't I move anymore ? -why is there a yasuo in every game ?
why are these champions so strong and arguably overpowered ? Kennen,jayce , jinx , Elise, Ekko, graves , nidalee , Syndra, anivia, zyra, gnar and some others ??

What happened to this game ?

It's just how the game changed. Each season of course there will be new champions that reach the "op" spotlight thanks to riot's changes so no surprise there. It's just how Riot decided to move forward with the game- giving Rylai's big slows which is probably going to be heavily nerfed now thanks to all the people bitching about it, damage is high across the board thanks to them buffing it, yasuo is just in the game a lot because he got popular with a tank build, but when they nerfed that, they still take him because he's "fun" but obnoxiously unfun to play against. Tanks, bruisers and assassins are still played, just you probably aren't seeing much.

Just wait. Riot might change the meta for next season and assassins will be all over the place, or some other class.

Because penetration items become too strong, which is why even dedicated tanks (except specialised tanks like Rammus and Malphite) need to build some damage to have a threat factor now. The point is, if you do no damage and still die about the same time, you might as well build some damage and actually take out a meaningful amount out of a squishy's hp bar, or if you have AoE, soften up the enemy team a bit.

Even I find myself doing it, and when I play supports, screw the CC because a lot of the time its who bursts who first, which makes CC for peel irrelevant in those cases. That's also why you see support. Death is the best cc, after all.

Well riot doesnt nerf directly by lowering the dmg, but instead increase cds or lowering utility. Thus they keep the dmg, that made them OP, but make other guys the new OP, by ether dmg or utility buffs. Basicly a ever increasing spiral in Dmg... I really dont like that. Like the Nida "nerfs", the problem are not her heals, but her spear and 1 shot combo! her heal is ok, but these nerfs, or better "lovetaps" are not nerfing the problem.

Syndra is pretty strong atm, but I predict they will increase her E cd. They will not touch the dmg of the ult or the Q! 100%
