Why no Champion Mastery for 3v3 and ARAM, Riot?

You're giving Champion Mastery points for playing a champion in temporary funmodes, but not in 2 out of 3 permanent gamemodes.

Is there a good reason behind this other than laziness? The only one I can think of is that you want to prevent people from spamming these gamemodes to get mastery points. However, you could simply reward them with a reduced amount of points if that's the issue.

Do you not want to promote these gamemodes? I enjoy both of them, but I currently avoid playing them because I want to get champion mastery points.

I can understand ARAM because of the random factor involved, people are likely to get pushed into roles and champs they are not comfortable with. As for the 3v3, I'm trying to get friends to join me in it, and they won't because they can't get chests.

Easy fix for ARAM, only get mastery points if you own the champion.

A reduced amount of points due to shorter games also means you can't spam them as much.

Yea, they said no mastery on ARAM. I think they mentioned something about adding it to TTT eventually....

I believe it was in a red post quite a while ago, and I have no luck finding it. It likely said they were not planning on implementing it soon, so if it comes, it will still probably be a while. Sorry bout that.

URF is clearly a more balanced and competitive mode.
