Whats the best tips to carry in gold elo

Hi i play mid lane main and im currently gold 3(solo q),however i play with friends ranked flex in much higher elo plat/diamond and i usually do fine . most of the times i win my lane and its much easier to close games with 5 ppl on discord.But in solo q im stuck in gold even tho i win lane idk how to close games, everyone is playing their own game and have very bad macro skills and we usually lose games cus stupid mistakes.Im not saying my team is always feeding and every game is 1v9 its just that in solo q gold players have very bad macro skills.So what can i do to close games more often.
