Will Kennen get nerfed before bruisers or bruiser get nerfed before Kennen?

Will Hashinshin influence riot with nonstop rambling about Kennen and mage items? or will the community claim their right and riot actually nerfs the dominating bruisers that are above 51% winrates.

Jayce got nerfed before bruisers. Gnar is getting buffed meaning he might replace Kennen if Kenne gets nerfed.

Edit: Kennen did get nerfed before every other bruisers. More like a Tweak. Still somewhat a nerf for his harrass. Kennen Lightning Rush (E) no longer grants armor and magic resist.

Slicing Maelstrom (R) now grants 20/40/60 armor and magic resist

Problematic bruisers will get nerfed at some point, but he isn't wrong about mage items in certain cases, and Kennen + any other ranged fuckboy that abuses range (Gnar, Jayce, Vlad, Pre-nerfed Vik, Karma).

Jayce got nerfed because he was becoming very problematic everywhere else but NA, because NA soloqueue is a clown fiesta, which is why Riven is hella broken here, but not anywhere else. Just try picking a melee with no burst or gap closing potential vs Jayce. He's worse than fighting Kennen as a melee imo due to the fact he has two kits with separate cooldowns.

Lol Riven isn't just broken in NA.

Hash's talk about the gold efficiency between the two classes is pretty true though. Mages have an easier time csing than melee bruisers, they have more efficient and better itemization paths and options, and in general they're better at all points in the game (mainly late). Plus with the adc class so strong right now, bruisers are pretty screwed except for the few that perform exceptionally well.

Mage has never an easier time to cs than melee bruisers, riot released a stat once before mage struggle to cs early games because of their mana pool and low base damage auto attacks, while bruiser gets tiamat and afk farm every lanes without spending mana.

There's like 2 bruisers that still build tiamat and they aren't even top tier. Bruisers are also a dozen times easier to harass. Sounds like the stat your referring to is just straight up player skill. I was trying to disregard that and focus on actual kit. It's not that hard to cs with anyone imo, it's all about being used to their auto damage and speed. Mages have more abilities that are useful for csing. Up until like last patch, seal with refillables was op for sustain and before that there was double dorans for mana sustain. Anyway, what your citing is all player skill. In pro play, mages don't miss cs bc their aas are weak, but bruisers are forced to sacrifice cs bc they have little trading potential into ranged.

Yea but the tradeoff to that is ridiculous late game monsters almost impossible to fight alone. Every ranged doesn't become magically unkillable late game, have you seen how a full build Fiora, Jax, Riven is for example? They jump on anything Tanks or squishy and decimate them.

For those 3 champs I agree completely, but for different reasons. Riven and Jax are just straight whack late game right now. Fiora is good late, but has a huge trade-off early game in that she is just god awful in lanes and duels before she gets items and healing cut is all too common right now. Most rivens aren't rushing or even buying tiamat at all, they're rushing DD which is far more broken. Jax gets tiamat to force his late game, but in decent matchups also will not buy it. Fiora needs it bc her early game is shite for both dueling and wave pushing.

If you disagree that much with this, you're completely unaware of the state of the game. Nearly all the bruiser champs build completely linearly with the only choices coming between spirit visage or an armor item (they literally ALL go trinity/cleaver into steraks). Very few even have the option of cleaver over trinity as a damage item, except for the ones that can't use trinity at all. Mages have the option of itemizing into armor, mr, health, healing cut, or even penetration while still focusing on late game damage stats. Not to mention they have the BEST safety items in the game. Zhonyas is literally core and most of the good rush items result in hp. The biggest factor is just how many different items the average mage can rush to build agains their lane whereas ALL bruisers will still have to start their damage item to get the passives they need to deal any damage whatsoever.
