Get Rid of Poppy's Ult or Do Something to It

Something needs to be done about her ult. It's entirely worthless. There's no reason to level it beyond 1 until endgame because it really doesn't do anything useful for your team. It's easily interruptible, avoidable, and you get too far big of a CD whether you are interrupted, don't use it at all, or use it and it goes on CD. I knew this rework was going to hurt her in the long run. All the nerfs you guys gave her since has really took her back down to ground zero. I think her ability budget being placed into her W's ability to stop dashes hurts her, and may be the reason why the rest of her kit is so underwhelming.

Please do something about it Riot.

Nice assumption. The best way to use her ult is to surprise enemies with it from the fog of war, assuming you're doing it from outside their vision. It' a very clunky ability with too little of a hitbox. And that's the problem with it. You don't get a lot of mileage for it out for the effort.

and you just showed me you have no idea how to use her ult at all. You could use her ult that way, or to extend your combo against someone, or use it as a disengage tool by simply using it while running away and sitting on it prevent the enemy from simply engaging you since you could just launch them away, or use it in the middle of a fight where you can take away the enemy frontline or backline (depending on whether you are flanking or not). Sorry but you have zero idea how to use the ult and using it from fog of war is not the best use of it, not in the slightest

You can use her ult to disengage

This is where her role falls apart. Her ult becomes useless at this time, when champs have better on demand disengages than her that aren't on an ult's cd. Aniva's wall, Naut's E, Mao's Q, Alistar's headbutt, Annie's stun, Ashe's arrows, Blitzcrank E, Cait's traps, Cho's W, the list goes on and on, and most of these champs aren't even considered tanks. That alone shows how weak her ult is.

Then you mention that you can use it in the middle of a fight to take away an enemy frontline or backline. Okay, so not only does her ult travel in a straight line, which is avoidable on its own, but you're saying that if you take away the backline, you win fights, except you could be Malph, ult, and then clean them up right then and there instead of giving them a free get out of jail card. Remove the frontline, and a competent backline would just disengage.

Poppy's ult has too many niche uses, and these uses are covered by better champs, most not even in the tank role. She's been nerfed to the point that she is now in dead status until Riot decides to care about her again.

all i see here is that you cannot use the ult at all and are complaining because it's not an ult that has just one use. Sorry but her ult us fine. Learn ti use her or don't use her. I dont care, Riot isn't going to take away her ult because you cannot use it

Her ultimate is one of the strongest ultimates in the game. It can turn a team fight from a 5v5 to a 5v4 or 5v3 (maybe even 5v2). It is also insanely good peel and provides good objective control later in the game. In reality, it has many uses. Also, you don't need to charge it for the full duration to get use out of it. You can charge it for about half that time and still give your team a little bit of an advantage in a fight. The whole idea that's it's bad because it can be interrupted is kind of like saying that Fiddlesticks ultimate or Vel'Koz ultimate are bad because they can be interrupted.

Her ult is one of the best things in the game. It creates situations where a 5v5 becomes a 5v4 or 5v3, and sometimes, even a 5v2. It creates number advantage, and also allows Poppy to push lane very aggressively when she has both ult and flash up.

It's good on paper, but absolutely useless in competent play. Even one stun makes her worthless, putting her ult on a 5 second CD, a crucial time during teamfights. And she has to charge it for a good 3 seconds on activation after that or so before she can use the knock away portion rather than the knock up portion that makes her enemies untargetable. Absolutely stupid of an ability. Meanwhile, you can play Malphite, Naut, or any other tank who has a better on demand ult and the steroids to play the role. Poppy is in a very weird spot right now where she isn't really living up to her identity.
