Need Help With Jax

I've been trying to learn Jax for a while now. It usually doesn't take me this long to get confident with a champion so maybe this kind of champion just isn't for me but I still really want to get good at him so I need to tips here. Specifically for his build. When I look at pro builds and stuff I heard you get Tiamat first for the clear and then rush Tri after boots. How do you decide which boots will be more important? Let's say you're against a Swain the rest AD do you still get tabi? Also from my experience having sustain from bork seems to help a lot so I usually just go Bork and then Tri. My friend who's (was) high elo told me I should get Titanic, Tri, Frozen Mallet, Bork, Guinsoo is that right?

Also how would you properly play team fights? I feel like an assassin most of the time since the moment I jump in I get focused and die.

What about jungle jax?

High elo jax build is titanic, triforce, steraks — tank. However thats for high elo, in lower ranks just build whatever you think will let you carry the hardest. Jax can and should rotate for skirmishes when you see an opportunity, but he isin't the best teamfighter, especially till he gets tankier, hence why high elo build rushes 3 damage items that also give him health, and he gets resists out of his ult. There is a streamer Hashinshin, long term jax player, you can check him out. He usually split pushes for the majority of the game, and while his kdas often go negative he still wins majority of those games, because he draws so much pressure, and camp that his team just wins constant 4vs 3 scenarios on other sides of the map.
