Biggest problem with riven.

Not going to lie, I like that if you even have some mechanical skill with her (at least enough to animation cancel well) that she should be strong. Don't care about her low cds or cancerous mobility. I care that she's the only champion allowed to be that powerful with a certain amount of mastery. What other champions get so insane when you've completely mastered their mechanics? Maybe vayne? That's about it. It's just... More champions should have that sort of potential.

The most obnoxious thing about Riven is how much her kit has to offer while having absolutely no gating mechanic. No mana, no energy, no long CDs. The fact that she has no resource is complete BS. Meanwhile she can spam her shield and has Two Forms Of Hard CC Neither Being on an Ultimate CD

I mean only Alistar Blitzcrank Maokai Rammus TahmKench Thresh have that luxury. And if you haven't noticed the trend yet, there all tanks. It's their job to peel or set up kills which they trade off for damage. Riven has insane damage and can easily set up her own kills.

Well tahm kench and thresh both kind of have insane damages for supports. But I see what you mean.

I'm sorry, but Azir takes the cake, and also probably requires the most skill. You honestly got to position with him well, it's more than just "auto attacking". If you don't position well, use your troops correctly, even save one sometimes for an all in, you're screwed.

Azir's farming generally isn't as good as Riven's either until he gets Nashor's tooth, then he becomes god, There is a reason he is banned way more in lcs, and at worlds than Riven will ever be banned(in fact, more champions get banned over Riven cause she isn't that good when it comes to top play, and people know how to deal with her). I'm maining Riven currently, so I know.

Going back to Azir tho, once he gets Nashor's tooth, he just becomes so deadly it's crazy, especially after getting a 2nd or third item, he is able to just shred the enemy team. His damage tops Riven's by far.

He's been nerfed time and time again but still strong as fuck.

EDIT, also he is a safe pick in lane, Riven isn't safe anymore at top now and days and is best played in jungle thanks to this jugg patch.

Maybe I look at it differently because I was an adc main once upon time and already understand how to position. Other than that I do agree he get insane damage wise but still just feels like all he does is aa and throw qs. Throw out walls to displace people and stuff is fun. Maybe with the change to his ult they made I'll start to enjoy him more again. I remember the last time I tried to insec with him and the wall was like nah dude we aint gonna go behind you. lol.

Nearly all champions get insane when you fully understand and can use their kit. not like top 50 challenger are all riven mains

Vayne isn't that hard to be honest. Hardest ADCs are probably Lucian, Corki and Ezrael to play at a max level.

If you hit every Lucian Q in lane you win any lane you play against basicly, if you animation cancel your q with your w you will do probably highest adc burst in the game. That's why I like playing him since it's rewarding to give it time to master him since you can outkill almost everyone.
