#since bonus armor is basically useless due to %pen being such a bad boy, could you make an item that adds extra BASE armor (the only one that seems to have some worth).

I don't know why people rush to say OP like if this item doesn't exist: 
We also have the ferocity armor pen mastery which penetrates TOTAL ARMOR.
We also have champions that have % shred, and we also have flat armor pen.
Also, the bonus would be an UNIQUE PASSIVE, so that it can't be stacked.
Ah and just let me remmind you that all of the abilities of 
feed on BONUS armor, same applies to

+ ferocity = 52% bonus armor penetration, plus the 7% that also is total armor pen, we also have these 
... ah, and btw since Malmortius armor pen is not an unique passive it also stacks with itself (easter egg).
