Tips for ivern?

So I got . is just an ADC and is a mid (and my friend does a lot of zed so I can use ivern more.) I had a game with him,didn't do so well but I had fun not doing so well xD i was 2/10/10. so yeah.[zombie-nunu-bummed] very bad. Our mid did DC 20 minutes in,but somebody stole a role so there team had less synergy,which makes me look both better and worse. the ONLY person I did better then was a top who took top when he was supposed to be support,and I guess a top Leona who had 1 more kill and assist,but 4 more deaths(if you call that outdoing... I did out level her by 1)both my kills were scored with daisy,and they stole every dragon I was about to get (two to be specific.)apart from me and Leona everyone else had half our assists and 11-12 kills apart from an ADC sivir. who I guess I did better then 3/8/6

Yes, dont play him in low elo. No one knows how to play with a support jungler

Max e first, but a support or off meta jungler is really hard to pull of in lower elo.

What are your expectations on Ivern? You are not going to go like 10/3/x (unless smurfing) or anything, you are Ivern. And your final scoreline is a really misleading way to judge how you did. If you snowball into a victory, your final KDA could be ridiculously high. If you are losing, you will die more at the end of the game trying to make desperate defense. Maybe that desperate defense is a bad thing, idk. But they will get more kills as they get fed.

As far two dragon steals. There are too many questions. Were you solo? Did you have smite? What level were you? Were your lanes pushed? Did you have vision? Did they have vision? Were they already ahead (teamfight is in their favor)?

one was solo(with daisy) but a top lane rammus,i will assume he roamed as karthus also went top,second was with the ADC sivir and I think Leona,the lanes were not really being pushed by either side,everyone was just kinda farming,i had smite,but on the first one rammus knocked me,taunted me then proceeded to attack the dragon as JarvanIV was coming to help,i even bushed the dragons uh...entrance and the dragon itself. though a control ward would have done better,i admit. the second one with Leona and stuff started a teamfight. and the oddly fed Jhin (yeah idk. he was alone in lane with sivir,as are support was being nice and joined Leona top) started stunning and...jhin things. with me dying first even though I was in the back,away from them with daisy up,causing her to die with me. wish it was a tibbers thing... the second one started the first teamfight,although both were ocean so....I cant specify my level but I was keeping it even with everyone. statistically zigs left at about 26:00 and that's when everything went downhill,shielding sivir and using daisy and my rootcaller I was able to get everyone in the fight and steal elder dragon so that went well...

And I guess your right,6 of my deaths were AFTER the ziggs DCed so I guess I was doing ok for my first time in terms of deaths,as It was almost impossible to win a teamfight as it was 4v5.(plus daisy)and nobody had a good AOE high damage attack like a MissFortune ult where they had an azir,karthus global,and jhin so running was PRETTY hard as well,everything past the Ziggs DC ended up with us getting 4 kills in the span of 15 minutes :/ I need to try again,with a non DCed team.

Yea. The end of the game the numbers are always tough to interpret.

As for the dragons, I just don't think of Ivern as an objective grabbing jungler (maybe check higher level Iverns to see how they do it). You are more support and counterjungling. It is super annoying to come and see your jungle cleared out by the tree dude.

Ivern's a support jungler, he's great at making other good players even better. He doesn't really work that well in lower elos if your teammates don't know how to play with him on their team or don't really know what they're doing in general, which usually they don't. I would recommend watching some pro/challenger players play him to see what they do (Iwilldominate has like a 95% winrate on him just as an example of someone to watch, but even he only plays him in master+ games), but note that even if you copy them exactly, it still probably won't work as well because it's harder to rely on your teammates.

As an Ivern main (other account) I'm gonna tell you that 90% of your power in fights comes from daisy. She is a lot more powerful than you think she might be. I love her and she loves me. And if you keep playing Ivern you will love her also.

Went better? I made sure everyone knows what I do,but every person on there team was very strong Teemo Khazix Akali Graves Sona in terms of attack so I was 2/9/13...But do I get points for shutting down two pentas by rooting them at turret with daisy xD as well as keeping up level wise with kha
