What would it be and why.
You finally talked about how his double attack speed steroids feel unsatisfying to the player im curious to hear your thoughts on the champion.

Affinity21 votesTo be honest my biggest beef with the character is how he cant catch people, forget the numerous other problems and counter intuitive play patterns that he has (ex its optimal to sometimes throw your axe way past an opponent as to increase the slow duration and therefore your dps).... i say make his q slow significantly better percentage or duration based on distance. As a trade off you can nerf his q damage heavily and finally give him some of the buffs he needs to feel satisfying and make an actual impact in games

Im extremely aware of that.... maybe if he were a little worse in lane they could actually add power where it counts and make him actually scale up as the game goes on rather than the split pusher thats a time bomb of uselessness as the game progresses being threatened of blowing up by every aoe spell never mind the damage of the adc. I dont think you understand that this would come with positive and negative trade off's, and last time i check
you didnt make the ability.... you merely decided for yourself that the power of olaf's q lies in its harass which, could be the inherent problem if you ask me....
Its original purpose as well as purpose post rework is obviously to catch people.... lets see what parts of Q as well as olaf's changelog give that away.
when you catch it the cooldown resets (the most obvious catch based playpattern)
during the rework they stripped the AD from his w
they nerfed 10 damage during his rework not to nerf him but to demonstrate that q has less harass power than before. Basically if you were too stupid to recognize the w change as a nerf to his q this should have accomplished that.
So in conclusion riot clearly see's and intends olaf's q to be a catching tool. you merely choose to see it as a harass tool. Im fine with a harder lane because frankly its a bitch to win with him even if your snowballing but then again thats just toplane in general
