Concerning Reworks and your personal time invested

Hi, so, ive changed my name to something else because the name i had previously was well known in a certain community that im no longer with because of a rework that made me initially stop playing this champion.

okay now that ive said that, i would like to address reworks and your time spent in league of legends. however, this mainly speaks to main champions "one tricks"

I started playing this game early season 6. I was just fooling around playing all types of champions till i saw someone get 3 kills with one champion and that person said "I coulda gotten another kill but my energy was depleted"

at that moment i wanted to main this one champion because i thought it was amazing to get kills. (because honestly at that time getting a kill was the coolest thing ever)

so i picked her up, by now i hope you can guess this champion. it was Akali.

so i watched a ton of videos on her, and watched a streamer. he was BAFL, cant really say names here but that would be a nickname of his, i spent 200 hours watching his live streams of just 20 people or so whenever he went live. i studied as much as i could on macro/micro. tips and tricks that akali had such as TP in shroud, Shroud a Jungle monster and R to it to get away from enemies etc. there was even a trick with shroud you could place on terrain and the shroud along with akali were out of sight period. you couldnt see either. however i promise... i genuinely promise i never used it because thats just low... there were so many nice tricks you could do with her and now its all gone..

all gone.

i spent 64 days worth of time into akali. 1.4 million mastery points and gained P5 (yeah i know, i sucked for only getting P5, but i had fun) 64.... days. 64. days.

and now all that is just history. in a moment, when a rework like akali comes out it just vanishes, 64 days worth of you life just vaporized in a moment. i havent played akali since nor will i ever play that garbage again. why? because its not fun.

**The one thing i want you to get out of this post is that you should never invest time into maining one champion and loving it because it will eventually get reworked and the champion you loved will not exist anymore. Side boob, is now no boob. her beautiful professionalism of being an assassin with how she talks is now replaced with some teen bitch lines. shen/akali no more. honestly looks like akali/some other lesbo. **

anyways. yeah so i wasted 64 days of time... in one champion. thats why i rarely play this anymore. i use to play easily 7-8 games a day, now its like... 10 a month at MOST. but i have been playing sona. and shes fun, during the winter ill play league because its too cold to go ride my motorcycle... but during the summer you can bet i wont have a single game played during nice days because the games not worth it to me. i learned a valuable lesson.
