What do you build against ghost blade?

I just played against a Lucian who was fed early game by my bot laners and the first thing he built was . I'm not exactly sure why adc are still allowed to build assassin items with no draw backs, but anyways what are you suppose do to build against it? I mean he has the range to be obnoxious and is really strong on him. Any advice?

No drawbacks? The armor pen builds typically do not scale nearly as well into the late game. That's a pretty big drawback.

Play Caitlyn, MF, Ashe or someone that can mess him up with harass/will punish him for using his mobility to gap close instead of running away.

EDIT: Karma is really good against him as a support pick, Blitz makes sure he can't dash in, Braum also discourages him from dashing in and negates his ultimate.

the answer to your question is just armor, if you want more specific tips you're going to need to give more info on the game. At least give us your role, champion, enemy team comp, enemy laner.

Building armor will help a lot vs flat pen. Health is always important too.

in the event of falling behind as an adc you're never wrong for building item 1053 item 1055 (yes a second dorans blade, and yes, vamp scepter first item) and just passive farm.

it sucks in all senses of a build, but you have to recognize you are too far behind to ever build normally and come out ahead, this is the best way to mitigate his lead.

you building your traditional route, its still possible, but you are going to need mid laner/jungle help to take him down when hes ahead, its that simple, you can not out play him, its not going to happen, all he has to do is right click on you to come out ahead, in that situation... you need help.
