If I could change Yasuo...

I'd make it so his tornado couldn't crit, reduce how long he could hold his tornado (thankfully the PBE is doing that) and make it so instead of growing in size his windwall would have an increased duration (obviously starting much shorter than it is currently) per rank.

Reasons: tornado crit is just a personal annoyance, no real balance philosophy behind this. The holding duration ties in with the crit in how I do not want to be hit by him, so he ends up zoning people off for very long. Other people with this (TF and Annie) actually have a weakness here because they can't farm as effectively while zoning. Yasuo doesn't however (course Yasuo is a different champion).

Windwall: this ability is probably the most accurate definition of one point wonder. It scales in size with rank, but a good Yasuo never needs a bigger wall. They'll just put the wall in the best spot because just a single pixel can delete projectiles coming at it. So instead, keep its base size and reduce its rank 1 duration to better reward skilled/reactive Yasuo players for using their reactive ability. Then as you rank it up, it increases in duration. Giving feeding Yasuo's some better back up utility to fallback on.

The windwall nerf at least hurts his level 3 early and probably a bit till his late when he finally starts maxing it.

That's just how I'd change Yasuo.

this summarizes the board very well

they aren't here to talk about balance

Some are. They are easily drowned out though.

Thoughts on the changes?

i like windwall change

Q change is trash i won't say something that i don't believe and the fact that you say it has no balance reasons to be done just makes me think that i'm right

The Q change (at least the crit tornado part) is just me ranting, so I'm fine with that being ignored.

Youre just a mad yasuo player upset you get downvoted for defending yasuo

This right here is why nobody takes you seriously and sees you as a shitposting rager. Every time someone disagrees with you, you accuse them of being biased towards whatever champion you're rallying against because they either "main" it, or "are an "x champion" player". Your arguments are weak as shit, and nobody here sees you as someone who will add anything intelligent to the discussion.

I don't understand why you're trying to point this out to him. Fuffy does not care and probably doesn't even try to be taken seriously.

I would make it so Yasuo can't delete projectiles from both side of his wall. If I put the time and risk into walking through it to come fight you, you sure as hell shouldn't be able to avoid all of my projectiles just because you dashed through me to the other side of it. Also, the windwall now has 300/450/600/750/900 HP. Eating projectiles that do damage subtracts that damage from the wall, and it can die.

Honestly making it only have one effective side would probably be a bitch to code and open up a lot of bugs.

As for giving it health, that defeats the purpose of the wall. It's meant to be something you work around, not brute force through it.

Yeah, a 900 hp windwall could be broken by 1-2 rangers focus shots from a mid-lategame ashe, that would be pretty garbage tier.

The numbers can be tweeked. The idea is to make is destructible at all.

It would give people OPTIONS to deal with it, and that's Yasuo's biggest problem. Yasuo has MANY options for a given situation, while the person playing against him has very few. Giving the wall health doesn't stop your ability to work around it, it gives you another option to deal with it entirely. Say you're in a siege comp, and your team has a LOT of poke. Instead of waiting the wall out, you could chip it to death, and then continue your siege. This also opens up options for the Yasuo's team, as they can choose to take advantage of any cooldowns spent to deal with the wall. It adds a layer of complexity to the wall as opposed to just "Yasuo throws it out, zone of safety for 10 seconds."

Why not make it so that instead of deleting projectiles, it reduces their damage by say 5/10/15/20/25% and slows them by the same amount?

Kinda like a Jayce gate but in reverse?

I feel like some big buffs would have to be administered to either the wall or the rest of his kit to make up for the decrease in damage reduction of the wall from 100% to 5-25%

I wish yasuos wind wall could be broken if it ate enough projectiles and that his auto attack damage would work like kalis but 80% instead while buffing his q that way you don't just die as an adc if a yasuo gets on top of you if u can dodge his q
