Only to find that ping is now even slightly worse for East Coasters than it was back then, and far worse than when I started years ago.

What a welcome back! Apparently I missed a free mystery gift, so Riot, you have my sincerest thanks for the free skin. I can't wait to not be able to enjoy it due to latency making the game a constant struggle.
