I'm really getting frustrated by those nerfs instantly getting cancelled each patch

Twitch Zoe Shyvana KogMaw What's the point to nerf a champion who is problematic to the game, just to buff it once again the next patch? You already know that nobody wants to see those champions to be the dominant ones once again, you already know that they should NOT be overly strong, so why are you just negating every single good nerf that you do, Riot? If a nerfed champion gets a lower winrate, its just a sign that it worked, not that you went too hard on it. You shouldn't bring everyone on the same power balance, everybody do waaaaay too much damage, so it should be more logical to nerf MORE, and buff LESS. But if you keep rebuffing champs after they get somewhat balanced, the game will only get worse and worse.

Because the point of nerfs is to balance, not to ruin champions. If a nerf turns out to be too strong, they roll back on some of it

These nerf followed by small buffs the perfect method to balance a champion. If that champion goes below certain threshold they aim for, they can partially roll back on the nerf to try and get that champion into that ideal sweet spot. Riot doesn't want to gut champions, Riot wants to balance them.

And idc how much you may hate Zoe, she needed buffs. 43% winrate on a champion with a 2% playrate is unacceptable and completely unfair to people who enjoy those champions, regardless of how frustrating those champions may be.

They used to do smaller buffs and nerfs over the span of several patches. A lot of folks on boards where vocal and the community was pretty adamant about wanting faster results . So expect to see outliers get dramatic nerfs or buffs (examples koggle, Volibear) then be adjusted up or down next patch, Zoe is a good example of both, was slowly having power let out, people kept rageing, so riot did a huge wave of nerfs knowing it would leave her in a bad spot and now see her being slowly brought up.
