Yasuo isn't as strong as everyone says...

He has a weak late-game. Read the statistics. Even Riven outscales him late-game. He's weak due to his -20% critical damage debuff from his passive. He just has a really strong mid-game where most games are decided at.

His windwall is like Vi's ult, Anivia's wall, Gangplank's ultimate, Vayne's ultimate, Evelynn's passive in terms of stopping them. You can't stop them from happening. You have to play around them.

There are some glitches with Yasuo with him ult'ing out of tower range. Or his interactions. But that's not an issue with him as a champion. It's an issue with knockups in general and sphagetti code.

Yasuo is fine. I don't see why he should be gutted. His only damage output and viability is his double crit passive. And right now, there are so many ways to beat him it's fine. There are much worse issues to address anyways...

l000000l you try killing a yasuo after you burned all ur cc in the fight, he goes straight for ur adc and 2 shots them whilst healing 500 hp a hit b/c of his item 3072 item 3153 then continues to kill everyone with his 50% bonus armor pen and lifesteal

Yasuo isn't "getting gutted". His third Q duration is being reduced from 10 seconds to 6 seconds on the PBE (and it's likely going to make it to the live servers).

And right now, there are so many ways to beat him it's fine.

If there were many ways to beat him, he wouldn't be receiving a nerf. What is logic?

He isn't getti g merfed because he is strong, it's happening because he will be banned in most games because people just dislike fighting him

Your first point, if you want to go that route then let's nerf Lee Sin too since apparently mid-game champions shouldn't be a thing. There are many mid-game strong champions, especially Kindred. This is where they can end games. If not, you stall if you're late-game or try to end fast if you're early-game. That's all there is to it.

You misinterpreted my "gutted" statement. I'm referencing the wish of the complaints for him to lose his double-crit and windwall which would gut him.

Your third point, his nerf is related to zoning only to make him more fun to play against. He's oppressive, not strong.

I wasn't implying all early to mid-game champs need a nerf, just Yasuo - you're the one who assumed that. And yeah, it's obvious that you stall out games and let your team scale if you want to win a losing game but your teammates don't always give you the luxury of doing so. You're just making a bunch of uninformed, blanketed statements and assumptions.
