Last pre-season.. we had new item masteries and changes like right away..

End of Season 3: November 11. Patch 3.14: November 21.

If the patch gets released this week, it'll be the same delay as last season. Pretty good considering the SRU beta.

They were also talking about ward changes etc. like.. ALL last season. So any changes were well in place before the season ended. The major changes last year involved warding and support gold income more so than anything. This year they've redone an entire map, added / changed jungle creeps, and almost completely changed jungle mechanics themselves. Its gonna take a lot more testing etc. than "hey, does this ward / support item work?"

I'm sure they are doing their best. :)
