Losing LP with afk on my team, solution inside

Solution to afk people: if you afk for more than 4 minutes in the game, and the team loses, then the afk person gets -50 LP. Teammates are not raped on LP but still lose some, 10-15. If you afk for more than 20 minutes in the game, and the team loses, then the afk person gets -100 LP.

Why is this the solution? People who afk a lot will get sent to bronze quicker which is where they belong. Also, I won't get destroyed on LP every single afk person.

I won clean game, +16 LP. Next game I had two afk people at various points of the game, between them they were afk for over 23 minutes. We lost of course and I got a -20 LP spank.

If you have a bad computer or shotty internet, then don't play ranked.

You're being an ass too a lot of people that may or may not have stable internet. Just because Someone doesn't have Google Fiber or Verizon Fios doesn't mean they need to be exiled from playing ranked.

Every now and then my ISP will have a shit week and I will have somewhat unstable internet. I'm not talking about, every game is unplayable, but I will say every 1/15 games will dc me a few times. Internet is extremely unreliable, period.

Also, First of all, the loss in LP from 50 - 100 is absurd. Simply because LP has nothing to do with Demotions, your MMR determines your rank. Also, for educational purposes; let's go more indepth. If you, Kbalz, are sitting at Silver 3 with 87LP and your power goes out. Well shit, you now wait.. 10... 15... 30 minutes and it comes back on. You log back into League now with 0LP simply because a Rat was fried on some wire 1 mile away from where you live.

Now, you have to start back ALL over in getting those 87LP back.

Second, let's say you don't have any good games after that power outage and now you start losing. Game after game you are expecting that message telling you that " You have been demoted to Silver 4 Amumu's Sharpshooter's". You are now getting more and more anxious and more nervous every game you play. I'm pretty sure with someone as yourself, doesn't go by without some sort of backlash; short temper, poor plays, tilting in general. You don't know when or how it will happen, but every loss is just one more away from that Demotion. This "solution" of yours, just created a whole new meaning of Ranked Anxiety.
