Love most of the changes planned for botlane but...
BORK needs a REWORK. NOT BUFFS. Sometime last season, I don't know if you all remember, but BORK was mandatory on all ADCs. I believe at one point it was even core on Sivir of all champions. The boards were filled with BORK complaints.
BORK has the same problems as old Morello used to have. It's too generalist. It gives you everything you want in one item (sustain, tank busting, AD, Attack Speed, extra kiting, some burst) for a pretty low price and it's components are insanely cheap making the build path easy even when behind. Buffing this shit is gonna bring it right back up to the top and overwhelm other builds.
It needs to be a niche item. Built when you need it, instead of one size fits all situations.
Without completely destroying its identity it should be focused on one of three things it currently already does:
- **Being a recovery item from a losing lane. ** like how mages rush Zhonyas/Banshees in a losing lane, or toplaners building towards Sunfire/Spirit Visage, BORK could be an item that helps you remain relevant in the late game if your laning phase was going lack luster.
- Being a early tank buster buying it for when the enemy has a tank toplane, jungle, and support.
- More focus on On-Hit/sustained damage builds right now guinsoos is the premiere option, even as a first item, for on hit builds. For some reason it seems like it's losing popularity in on hit builds in favor of other attack speed options. If it was more focused on attack speed and damage that amps up over time and was designed to be more for on hit users rather than a general ADC item I think that would be an okay change.
Of course these are only come options I thought of but there's a ton more to be said as for what direction BORK could be taken in.
