Give him a high priority spot on the VGU list. Rework him ground up rather than trying to fix 160+ Bugs in the mess that is his code.

I agree that Mordekaiser could benefit from getting a VGU more than trying to fix his current bugs, and possibly make more trying to fix a few if they went at it all at once, but that would be a long time away sadly due to other priorities overshadowing Mordekaiser's problems. item 3070

This is upsetting me for a reason I didn't expect. I thought that all of these would be gameplay bugs that impact him in a significant way. The vast majority of these are basically his ghost being buggy with passives and animation or sounds not playing correctly. The way you and other players made it sound it is presented it as if he had 160+ direct gameplay bugs which is kind of disingenuous like #9 is literally saying his Q doesnt do a 1 /2 /3 anymore. This needs to be separated to show actual gameplay bugs animation and sound bugs and ghost specific bugs. There are definitely a hell of a lot of gameplay bugs thats for sure but the way it's presented just upsets me. Like number 34 isnt a bug at all it's just a statement that he has a passive he cant use on aram. quite a few champs have useless things on aram.

Edit: You could cut this number down by over 40 hell I'd be willing to waver even cut it in half just by stating that his ghost isn't applying passives correctly. Listing every single champion passive is just fluff. The W E and Q bugs were eye opening. Also some of these could be undocumented changes that happened when they patched him.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel Morde's greatest weakness is his melee power without a gapcloser.

A lot of chimps nowadays have insane dueling power with a gap closer. What separates Morde from them, in my mind, is that Riot wanted to nail a thematic where he uses others for his dirty work (W & R), but also being able to do it himself (Q & E).

As you said, it might just be better to scrap (hehehehe) his kit, but keep the concept. A lord of metal, who mostly wants others to do his work, but can do it himself. Insert "Fine then, I'll do it myself" Thanatos meme

I'm no Morde expert, but I feel like you're right. If Riot would listen to, I think, the most famous Morde player around the boards, where Rioters themselves are often active, something could be nailed.

But the whole problem is that, for a semi-reliable gapcloser, you need an ally close by, which seems redundant. That's why they added it to minions too. The whole problem is that it's still extremely unreliable.

I'd be shocked to hear that he isn't already high on that list. Meddler said elsewhere he's working on a post that updates everyone on where they sit with that. He said to look for it late Jan or early Feb, I think.

the problem probably in lies with mordes identity.

Riot hates lifesteal and comparable mechanics on any character that isn't an adc, and morde is pretty much the purest form of sustain and damage in league.
