I need advice on playing riven to challenger

I did everything i've seen other rivens do

So I hit fill and instalocked riven

I tried raging, that didn't do much

then i went on in and blamed top lane and that didn;t help either (Should I have blamed someone else?)

Every time i died i instantly remembered to insult a team mate or insinuate a lack of skill of my enemy's champion, and i still lost

what else could i have done?

Should i have tried inting and then leaving the game? Help I'm really trying to master riven here
