I'm totally fine with Fiora being able to parry ultimates and summoner spells

But why do they have to be put on cool down and not on a reduced one?

Say a 100 second CD ultimate that got parried would be put on a 60 second cool down?

It just leaves a sour taste in my mouth whenever Fiora parries my strongest moves with a bloody basic ability :/

Spellshields and Morgana shields don't do that, why should Ripost?

Spellshields block damage right? Ripost cancels an ability, it stops it from happening. Morgana's shield allows it to happen, but just ignores it.

Spellshields block the entire spell. I have spellshielded everything from Lee kick to bard ult with noc. His and sivir completley negate one spell, two if they hit the same frame.

Im pretty sure if Fiora Ws a Malphite ult for example, it can still hit someone near her, so it doesnt stop them from happening either.

Fiora should be rewarded for reacting/planning.

My feelings when I miss my Pantheon stun with a MasterYi Q. Vladimir's puddle for some reason doesn't put the stun on cooldown.
