Level up rewards for those of us with all champs unlocked are pretty weak

I mean, I am not sure what to spend BE on. I don't care about poro emotes and I know that's hard to believe but I really don't.

Also, I realized that optimally I shouldn't be opening my champ capsules. I should hold onto them until a new champ is released, then open them all and hopefully pull the new champ.

I mean, I have enough BE that it doesn't matter, but I want to feel like I'm doing the optimal thing with my rewards.

It's pretty unrewarding though.

Pretty sure the level capsules are rolled when you get them, not when you open them. Same as Overwatch lootboxes

I mean, there's no reason to open them anyway. That's kinda the point here.

I believe a Riot person said that you can hold chests until a week or so after a new skin is released and have a chance to get it at one point or another, not sure why capsules would be any different.

Just like IP before it, there's only so much to spend on, but it does take years of consistent playing to even get to that point.

Eh, the opening for the new champion to get one benefit is pretty minimal, imo. (Might be a benefit if there's a coding thing where if you don't open them and then level up 20 times, all the capsules check in at the 20 lvl higher mark and give more rewards, but that's a whole other story).

Tbh I'm gonna keep a few "random champion unlock" tokens from the essence store that you can get for 3950 for that. I already have over 100 champions unlocked, and probably could dump my essence to get all the rest, barely. But I don't know what other chromas or rewards they're putting out for IP, so I'm keeping on hoarding like a dragon.
