They do literally nothing shes always gonna be op unless you nerf her spear and make her cougar form cost mana.

Nidalee has a 60% ban rate?

Better nerf Kassadin again; he might be playable still against bots

shes getting compensation buff for that small nerf LOL

imo the buffs are aimed at compensating lane Nidalee; jungle Nid's clear is largely derived from her pounce resets and her trapping, so they're nerfing that. The AP ratio buff doesn't really matter unless you have a ton of gold to buy AP, ie. you're a laner in the mid-late game.

No matter how you look at it, the AP ratio increase on Swipe is a straight buff. Meanwhile, naut gets a cd buff to his e, he gets his w nerfed along with it

The favoritism is real imo

So both Naut and Nid get their W nerfed and their E buffed.

Yea I totally see the favoritism

(and before you go off on me about how "the favoritism is real", I am well aware of it, but probably not in the way you're thinking)

Meh, you get the point. Nidalee w does seem weaker, but they gave her better scalings rather than a straight nerf. Naut w wasn't even a shift ( they could've decreased the cooldown by even 1 second, since you're taking away 15 damage from it)

It is a small thing actually, still feels unfair however

From most of the Naut players I've spoken to, they're actually hugely in favor of the changes (maybe aside from the fact that his mana pool can't yet support the E changes, but hopefully there will be some buffs to compensate for that). Naut currently maxes his W first, but that's only because his E isn't good enough right now and his Q is a one-point-wonder. His shield scales with max health, which he doesn't get a ton of until later, but it's something he currently maxes first; that's an issue for a lot of players. Moreover, his damage with his shield is reliant on him having the shield up; once it breaks, the damage is gone anyways.

In Nidalee's case, her early clear speed is really what makes her so overbearing in jungle right now; she clears faster than your jungler meaning she can gank you while your jungler is still doing their clear or invade and kill your jungler before they're even done with their clear. Her traps and her pounce are actually a huge portion of her clear; the %HP damage is nothing to shrug at, plus her pounce resets while clearing camps (both because of the hunt debuff and because of killing smaller monsters), meaning she gets a ton of damage from that when clearing camps. She'll probably use her swipe like once per camp, and again, the buffed AP ratio adds maybe 2-4 damage to her swipe in the early levels (it increased by 0.1, and IIRC she'll usually have like 20-40 AP from runes and masteries).

Again, they cut like 10 damage from her pounce lvl 1 (more at later levels), and because of the reset she'll probably use her pounce like 3+ times per camp, so she's a losing a lot more damage from her early clear than she's gaining; this isn't even factoring the %HP removal from her traps. Her current traps at lvl 1 do 20 + (10 + 2%AP)% current HP. Lets consider the wolves, since that's the weakest camp: the large wolf has 1320 HP (according to the wiki). Again assuming she has 20-40 AP (and assuming my math is correct), she'll do about 152.4 - 152.8 damage with her trap. The traps on PBE are a flat 40 damage and .2 AP, which is going to do around 44 - 48 damage, basically an auto attack (also keep in mind the discrepancy in damage is larger for other camps, since wolves are the weakest camp). Also keep in mind that her traps are the last thing Nidalee levels, so this is going to be more or less the damage for much of the game (it'll be a little bit higher as she gains AP, but the ratio is still pretty small), where the %HP would still be scaling harder as jungle monsters become stronger even if she isn't putting points in it.

Will this absolutely gut jungle Nidalee? Probably not, and I doubt that's what Riot wants anyways (the reason they gave her the ability to hunt monsters is to turn her into a jungler in the first place; increase diversity by adding a jungler that isn't a AD melee bruiser like all the ones we see right now). It's still a pretty significant nerf though, not just because of the damage she loses, but because it will slow down her clear a great deal, meaning she is less able to exert the early pressure that makes her an issue right now.
