Are Mind Control ultimates still off-limits?

I don't refer to Mordekaiser's ultimate, as we all know that requires your target to die first. I'm thinking something more like Sylvanas' Mind Control from Heroes of the Storm.

Here is Sylvanas' version.

Mind Control After a 1 second cast, take control of an enemy Hero's movement and prevent them from doing anything else. Channel lasts 2.5 seconds.

Now some might say that Skarner can sorta do this, but he can't do it at range. This can be really strong when you force an enemy to move into an allied catcher move or into some heavy AOE damage. But it's not without counterplay: your channel can be interrupted by your victim's teammates. Plus you can't use the Mind Control to turn your enemy's ultimate onto their teammates; you can only make the target move.

Is this still off-limits, or would it be acceptable at this point?
