Are they good or bad for the game? Do they need to be remade or removed? I think Karthus is fine since it's iconic on him. People seem to want Zyra's changed or removed. I feel that Sion's passive could be workable, while I'm not sure about the others.

Zyra and Kog'maw aren't supposed to die in the first place, Sion is just a lame attempt to make it up to old AD Sion players that fails horribly.
KMannnnn12 votesThe whole thing with on-death passives is that if you're generally doing well for yourself, you never make use of them, except with karthus, who can use his to make crazy suicidal plays. But strictly speaking, any passive that promotes a literally suicidal playstyle probably doesn't have much of a place in the game.
If you ask me, death passives can be fun for getting revenge kills, but if they exist, they need to be balanced such that intentionally dying is rarely, if ever, the best course of action.

Zyra and Kog both have very strong kits. They don't need a better passive. If they got a passive more effective while alive it would have to be taken from their abilities power.
Sion's is OK.
Revive passives are fine. It's kind of different. Because it's more rewarding than the others. Playing well could mean you always have it up when you need it. Expecting to never die in a game is silly.
Unless you're Zac. But he's in a bad spot even if his passive didn't get Smited.
DWT123451 votession's is pathetic. He can be easily cc'd, and he gives people a couple seconds to get a way. Building frozen mallet on him helps a little bit, but for the most part karthus has the only decent on death passive, unless you count anivia's and zac's
