I like the new champ select and all but the fill feature is stupid. From my experience most of the time I select fill as primary I get support. I like supporting but not every single game. Is there any way the fill feature can mix things up?
Yes it's a silly request because you can just set your primary and secondary to things other than support, but I never know what I want to play. This is also why I didn't enjoy teambuilder unless I was testing a champ.

Ratio seems about the same to me as it was before. I actually got mid the first game I queue'd as fill.
My problem is that if fill is your secondary, it seems to be no different than picking it as primary as I got several games in a row as anything but jungle.

I find that ADC tends to be the role that people get forced into in my games.

WTF can we please have a minimum wait time or minimum number of times we are forced to play our secondary/one role??

hence why I plan on putting supp 1st and mid as my secondary.
If I ever get mid over supp I'm going to table flip.

JRobin311 votesI have to say that if Fill meant Random Position, then I might use it in Ranked play. But since it doesn't mean that, I will not use it in Ranked play.
Instead, I will just randomly select the position I queue for in ranked games using my own private random generator, because obviously randomly selecting your position is the best strategy to use when playing ranked. Kappa.

Shonjl1 votesIts works as intended though. You say fill meaning you will do what the rest of your team doesnt want. That often only means support. Don't do fill if you don't want support.
Trias0001 votesThe solution to this would be to make the support role more fun. I once even proposed to remove the support from the game entirely. I did it to provoke discussion about possible ways to change it in order to make it more appealing to players. But most people were like, "no, support is fun, we need it blah blah blah". Well, you can clearly see how fun supporting is, when you get it 100% of the time you choose fill, simply because hardly anybody wants to play it.
