Riot Removed DFG Because It Allowed Champions To Burst Down Targets

Wrong they removed it because it's stats were too good to not build on every ap champion and it's burst active was far too unbalanced giving AP champions power on the god tier level. Just like thunderlords is now, if everyone uses the exact same thing it causes unbalance in the game overshadowing other options and even causing people who build/use those other options to be comparatively weaker.So when you have a item that synergizes amazingly with all ap champions, gives them point and click deletion level burst without any amount of items or being fed, and even increase passive stats like CDR for them all while being in an extremely costs efficient package you get a meta where mages reign over everything all due to 1 silly little item.

DFG wasn't built on every AP champion..... Like i dont remember akalis building it kennens or even brands or anivia's The people who built it was like leblanc veigar katarina and a few others. Ziggs never built it ether.

No, RIOT removed DFG because Garen could rek people with his ult.

I'm still not eager for it however, I don't mind all assassin's having it except zed, I can see pro zed players just using it to save their ulti this way they bait out hourglass/Qss easier than before....

Akali always built gunblade hourglass abyassl. Have one more active with a very short window to use the effect of it didn't really help her. I saw more lichbanes on her then anything. It was never a preferred item for her. As far as brand goes there was much more better build paths then DFG also not to mention you was like never close enough to ever use it with him and if you was you was out of position. Brand went more for the CDR mana regen build with lieandra's torment and rylia's and possibly roa factor in athenes void and deathcap you have no room in your build for such a item.
